    Monday.

My eyes burn like crazy. Sudden raising of temperatures seems to have made some plants go “SPRINGTIME!” and now I feel like someone gas-grenaded me.

I has coffee and I will do hobby tonight. If I can keep my eyes open.

hay fever season is upon us already ?

I think my allergies wait ’til the grass starts to bloom … so I’ve got a few weeks of clean air.

Time to get my trike out again before the seeds start flying.

I got my bike tires changed last week; found some super cool purple panaracers when I was in Kyoto. Now my bike looks epic. And the snow is almost all gone…

Pollen has not yet been unleashed in my vicinity. We barely get sunlight breaking through the grey clouds.

Ok, not awake right now. I read purple panaracers as “purple pancakes” and was trying to get that aligned with bikes.

Eye burning got better after a short rain last night. Making some progress on the tiny not-Orks.

Now coffee and a tiring workday.

Nothing. It will be a diorama with some not-LotR Horsetribe Men and some tiny hairy feet folk

Yeah, the establishment parties really need to step up their game instead of just pointing fingers.

Stumbled across this online. though the language/spelling is a wee bit cringe in my opinion the points are valid

***The ten commandments of Miniature Painting are***

    1. thou shalt always strive to not self-deprecate
    2. thou shalt be proud of thine Good Works, for they are truly Good Works
    3. thou shalt bestow on the work of others, regardless of skill level: compliments or emoji such as heart (any colour), heart-eyes, mind-blown, thumb-up, muscle-arm (normal or prosthetic) or other affirmation
    4. if thou canst not follow Commandment 3, thou shalt shutst the fucketh up *we meaneth iteth*
    5. thou shalt not offer advice or suggestions for improvement unprompted
    6. thou shalt not painteth when thou dothst not feeleth like it. Thou hast a job, school, or chores for that
    7. thou shalt not compare thine work with that of thine neighbour before thou comparest thine work to thine past work
    8. thou shalt take pictures of wash, paint or glue spills before cleaning it up
    9. thou shalt better not drink paint water unless thou knowest the toxicity level is okay
    10. thou shalt not make too much of a habit of cleaning thine brush in thine tea, coffee or other beverages

    Nice list @sundancer

Indeed apart from the horrible attempt at old timey Biblical commandment writing, it’s very valid.

**The ten commandments of Miniature Painting are***

    1. always strive to not self-deprecate

    2. be proud of your good work, and your work IS good!

    3. compliment the work of others, regardless of skill level: compliments or emoji such as heart (any colour), heart-eyes, mind-blown, thumb-up, muscle-arm (normal or prosthetic) or other affirmation; but:

    4. If you can’t do that, just stay quiet.

    5. Don’t offer advice or suggestions for improvement unprompted

    6. Don’t paint when you don’t want to. It’s not a job, school or work.

    7. Don’t compare your work with that of others, before comparing it to your prior work!

    8. take pictures of wash, paint or glue spills before cleaning it up (honestly I don’t get this one, but ok).

    9. Do not drink paint water unless you know the toxicity level is okay

    10. Try not make too much of a habit of cleaning your brush in tea, coffee or other beverages

I’ve broken some of those and I’m particularly guilty of the first and second.

Is the take pictures of spills just in case you see an image of the messiah, or Elvis, or something in the spillage?

    I guess.

He’s not the messiah, he’s a naughty little boy.
