@pagan8th – Canada went to the metric system in 1977; so I grew up with both systems – ironically, I never knew that formula lol. Just in my head equivalents.

Canadians proving once again that they’re smarter than their southern neighbours by adopting metric/si units

(now if only they could get rid of the silly French … 😉 )

    /me runs …

Today was not a productive day for hobby.
Maybe tomorrow (tuesday) will be better …

Continuing from the ‘Stuffed Boots’ thread where I built that tower…

I used to filler I got from a pound shop and tried the cobblestone roller I bought from Green Stuff World some time ago.

It didn’t work out as planned…

It’s not a total disaster and it was on the smaller tower that I tried it. Maybe I need to let it dry for a bit before I try to texture it. Or maybe the filler and roller are not compatible.

I’m not compulsive enough to want it perfect, so I may just prime it and use it anyway. It’s for a game, not art.

It’s not cobblestone, but it does look like a textured surface, so part win?

@pagan8th did you use the roller as is or did you try to make it wet first ?
I think the filler may be a bit too sticky for rollers to work and you need to use greenstuff (or a close equivalent) instead.

It would work for wall textures … but then those probably don’t need to be that rough at this scale either.
