watch the original and then the sequel … things will make more sense that way 😉

I loved how they updated the soundtrack and the opening was amazing to watch on a big screen.
The 3D effects were wasted on the movie. I suspect that because they were added in afterwards the fighting scenes were a blurry mess, but otoh that may just be 3D itself.

I think the original Tron is pretty good in terms of CGI …
It’s the more modern stuff that tends to look real bad especially when you watch it on more high rez devices.
The ‘old’ stuff wasn’t that great so you already had to look past its flaws even when it was ‘new’.
