I think it’s Wednesday. Not really sure though. Night is a blurr. Also it’s freezing outside. I present my way to work:

I know you can cure a squeaky wheel with a bit of oil. Is there any way you can give your bike a squeak?

So you can become known, locally, as that guy who cycles to work at some ungodly hour and wakes everybody up?

Or maybe whistle a jaunty tune (or better still, a completely flat, tuneless dirge) as you cycle along?

Wrap up warm! Double socks and a “flap hat” to keep your ears covered up!

1. I squeak enough on the way. No need to make the bike worse
2. Maybe but I’d rather be hated for being a grumpy old fart who yells at young ones crossing the road without look both ways
3. whistle? I barely have enough breath left to not collapse!
4. Warm I am. Really, my body for what ever reason is burning so much fuel for heat. I’m only wearing a jacket and gloves at 0°C and it’s fine. Still sweating and huffing like a pig.

Food coma after turkey day!

Only the 3 of us, so stuffing, turkey breast, and that’s enough for me.

Also, Amazon BF goodies already arriving for Christmas. Do I really want 2x Funko 4-character sets at under $10 each? Apparently, I do.

Also, got banned on Twitter for 12 hours b/c I suggested running over some Macy’s Thanksgiving Day protestors with a Barney float. 😛 Gonna see if I can stay off the site for the weekend, since I only should be using it for financial stuff and it’s otherwise a waste of time.

Colder weather in the San Francisco Bay Area is better, since I can do my daily walk anytime before sunset!

Wow. It’s Saturday already.
I’ve had quite a traumatic week and the time seems to have just flown by. Went on a bit of a Youtube deep-dive last night just to switch off for a few hours and was absolutely blown away by the excellent Crooked Staff Terrain sci-fi stuff (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QD8Ochy_alA) . Would like some feedback to ideas from you guys, so will post again when this week’s new thread pops up
