Milmaa’s hobby project.

Will most probably try a bit of a clear out of these boyz, but thought I would make in entry showing what I had!

Painted minis first;

Next up the built and primed models;

Finally the stuff still in boxes;

Been collecting these for a while, and finally got the first 4 completed!

I have also been trying to make slight changes to my doubles in order to complete a 10 man unit. I will have a choice of the missile launcher and the heavy bolter.

The first is a couple of simple weapon and arm changes, with head swaps, and the second is even simpler! A simple head turn. I think that will keep it different enough within the squad of 10.

I plan to get some more work on Mr Calgar done this weekend as I’ll take him up to the OTT visitors centre!

I havent got all the models form the set yet. Missing the Sergeant and Captain but I’ve converted my own Sergeant and the rest of a 10 man squad from my doubles.

I have 2 options now for heavy weapons, the missile launcher from a previous entry and the heavy bolter from this one!

Hopefully will be handy !

Next is Calgar and his 2 guards… Thats the last built models i have to complete painting before I can build some more!

Finally put the finishing touches to this guy throughout the week… .

Pretty happy with this one, I think I’m steadily improving.

For now I can get back to building more models so that I can get painting again!

As I have been off this week, I’ve tried to get some work done on the latest batch of Ultramarines from the Conquest collection.

Models included are a Librarian, 2 Hellblasters, 2 Intercessors, 1 Inceptor, and 3 Aggressors.

I tried something a bit different for my Librarian.. I attempted to add some glowing eyes and a slight glow to his hand… Seems ok for a first attempt!

Finally the WIP on the Aggressors;

maybe will be complete by the end of the weekend!

More work this week on the Ultramarine Aggressors. Think these models are growing on me. This is my first run in with the easy to build kit and from what I remember about putting the standard kit together, this one is indeed much easier!

I will have to get some work done on the Death Guard side of the collection as well its lagging behind! Stay tuned for that!

I’ve been slack in updating this project but I have been doing some hobby!

Been working on 2 Death Guard models from the Conquest magazine for the last couple of weeks, not been too keen on them but I’m nearing the final stages of them. Hopefully will be done by next weekend.

I have also been going to the OTT members suite most weekends now, and there is a bunch of newer players there and I want to do something for them so that they can continue to enjoy this great hobby…

They all play something different, but I have a lot of stuff laying about not doing anything so I will work them up and donate them to their armies.

I found an old squad of Genestealers in a drawer… I will tidy them up and hopefully bring them to the club next weekend for the Tyranid player.
