Milmaa’s hobby project.

For a few weeks I’ve been looking at all my painted Ultramarines and deciding what is needed to finish that army off!

I found that I am waiting on a few future issues of the Conquest magazine to complete the Hellblasters, and Inceptors.

I dug out 2 Reivers and began working on them to complete that squad, as well as got some more work to do on a Redemptor Dreadnought!

As mentioned in the last update, I had started work on the Redemptor Dreadnought and Reivers.

Now completed and ready to fall in to the rest of the force.

These guys have been sat here not finished for a long time, so this week i though I have to get them all sorted and put away with the rest of my Death Guard army.

Thankfully I’ve stuck to my plan of getting the few things on my table completed for this weekend! I have managed to cut my WOW play time down and have started doing more hobby as this week has gone on!

Ok so next is the second half of the tactical squad and the Deathwing Captain… In fact once the captain is completed thats finally the whole 40k hobby weekend box done!

I have a Tau commision force coming up so that will eat into my own stuff, but I think this is the last bit to do for a friendly guy who bought my old tau on eBay and wanted some bits painted to match! Not really sure that will count for my hobby but we’ll see!

Well, its been some months already, and I’m happy that I have managed to get the last model from my 40K Hobby Weekend event done…. The aim was to get it done this week, along side some commission stuff I’m trying to do as well.

I tried to be alittle different with the sword, its alot darker than i would normally do for a weapon. Happy with how it came out!

Lets see what next week can bring!

Well its Christmas day, Merry Christmas to you all! I’ve finally got teh farnish on to the Deathwing squad that I had been working on the last week or so!

Lastnight I also manged to finish off the small commission Tau force I had been working on!

Well looking back in my project, it seems that this unit has been on the go since mid March last year!

A Blood Angel assault squad, a unit that I started just before I sold all my Blood Angel thatwere painted! Meaning I’ll have to find this unit home!

Actually enjoyed painting these guys, found having the heads separate was a big help!

Lets hope the next thing doesnt sit on my to be done shelf for as long!

Well as its a new year and a time for making improvements etc… I decided to finally try out this wet palete that I bought on Kickstarter ages ago!

Seems nice to use so far I cant lie! Will see in time how i grow with it, will certainly report back!
