Base color testing
Decisions are made and the colors are locked in. Except the color for the pants on the infantry.

Cleaning up these guys brought forth the Blood.Building up ahead of the Weekend.
The leader guy is prepped.
Walker is ready for primer.
Decided to keep the options open.
Used magnets so that the gun hand could be switched out. Don't think it matters but they are both cool so I decided to do them up.Living in Colo(u)r.
Here are the colors that will be used, unless they are horrible, for the basis of this army. The Turquoise will be the main color for cloth and armor. Buff is will be the secondary color for the armor and the lining of the cloth. The metallic paints will be used on all those mechanical bits sticking out everywhere. This could be a total mistake but it should make for a punchy change on the table top.
Prep time for the weekend.
Trying to pick a color scheme as the normal Skitarii Red isn't my thing.
Sub-assembly and prepping for primer and paint. 
A nice model that actually works pretty well.
Double the amount of sprues as there will be 10 Vanguard and 10 Rangers. Starting off the Skitarii with a look at what has arrived.
The box is opened and a look at some paint options.
Reading the instructions to see if there is a way to ease the building. Hint: Nope not really, they aren't complicated but they sure are fiddly. 
After going through the instructions and reading on the army build side, I decided to add to the infantry so I could do both styles / options.
