About the Project
Revisiting some old games and bringing them back to life and seeing if they are as good as I remember. This includes a bit of painting and modeling as well was forcing folk to play them.

3d printing squats
I have a soft spot for old-school squats and have a few metals but browsing 3d printing websites I found some squat lookalikes in cults. They came unsupported but printed ok. I painted them up in the style of the old plastic box set art. I also found some files for trikes and bikes so might have a go at printing them.
Squares or round
What are these old squats doing on square bases?

Fantasy on round bases, nnoooooo. I did a video on Advanced Heroquest and realised having round bases on a square grid board is a bit odd. I felt bad rebasing these old minis but it works better in my mind.
Olhammer 40k army
This army was a labour of love over 15 years ago. I used to go into warhammer world once a month and use their catalogue service to order bits to complete this army. I realised its never rolled a dice in anger. Some of the conversions such as the cold one riders are a bit bad by my modern standards but I remember taking my time with the paint work which followed zulu war colour schemes. I got this army out because I'm thinking of saying goodbye to it in the new year and selling it on for minis I will actually use. They look good on a shelf but I have historical zulu war minis for that.
Giving up
Finding nothing but empty rooms our heroes look around the corner
Ans find another dead end and some wandering skaven
Busting open some doors our split up heroes find an empty room on one side and a skaven lair on the other
Backtracking to the start we look for a way forward down two passages 
The right passage led to a couple of rooms but no way forward 
To the left is another lair but our heroes have lost most of their henchmen and wounds are running low
A desperate battle sees many wounds on all sides 
Beyond the lair is another passage guarded by more rat men. Perhaps the illusive quest room is ahead.
Nope, just another way out. There is no way to progress so realising we are in the wrong dungeon we had for home leaving 5 dead henchmen behind but a stack of gold found on the dead skaven. Better luck next timeGoing in circles
The new floors led to a hazard room and a trsp that my dwarf dpotted snd disarmed. Hacking through another lair I find a long tunnel ahead which annoyingly led to two normal empty rooms. I had to go all the way back together as sll I vound was stairs out rather than downFirst deaths
The first lair found with its guards struggling against my heroes but they killed one of my hired help but my wizard heald his wounds
The fight attracts some wandering monsters
My useless elf missed a target and hit one if my own men
After clearing the lair I checked the doors. Realising that doors in corridors automatically lead to rooms I thought there might be more chance of finding the wuedt room so I doubled backLet's go on an adventure
Advanced hero quest has solo rules so I had a look at the adventure in the book. My heroes with some men at arms have to explore the dungeon and kill a skaven sorcerer. The dungeon generates randomly and I had to find a quest room with stairs to the next level on the third level i will find the sorcerer. Howard can it be.
