With the release of Blood and Valor I have revisited my old collection is Great War miniatures originally used with Warhammer historicals Great War ruleset and giving them a spring clean and looking at the difference between the two systems

Trench mortar
Hhe blood and valor rules gives the trench mortar 3 crew but this kit from great war miniatures has two so I added a chap to the base
End of Empires
Finally got my copy of this add on for blood and valor. I like the addition of new units for my existing forces and the new scenarios. The army lists are so vast but I wish they'd given more context to the various Russian lists as a bit of homework is required. But I can now use my Irish units.
My pile of old minis I can now base up and use.
Bit of rebasing but ready to go
Also dug out my tanks Berty and gerty. I have 4 British tanks which is a bit excessive 
Base colours
First layers of paint for my turk rifleman
Close assault unit wearing German helmets based on the assault units used in Palestine with a slightly different colour scheme based on the research bellow 
Ottomans
I decided to start an ottoman force using the Atlantic digital head options fir tyd German kit. During printing a couple of heads didn't make it but the prints were very quick 
Using the German box you can get a complete force with two boxes not including weapon teams. The close assault unitcwear full German style kit including helmets. The fez was banned in 1908 but was still used so I might put them on the badly trained troop options.
Easter Rising
As its eater and the new supplement for blood and valor covers this period I thought I'd dig out my minis. Depending on the lists I have three units and ifvits allowed a Lewis gun but that might be more war of independence rather than the rising. A city fight board makes an interesting table for this game
