so on the 23rd of oct. HMS Wheatstraw went into battle with rebels against the emperor’s will on the Covenant Orbital station.

on turn 1 the wheatstraw was forced to hold due to the much faster rebel ship Idolon.  So with the Idolon in range of our void missles we opened fire on her.  the hated ork ship the TitanSpika fired on the Wheatstraw but our shields held.

Turn2 found the wheatstraw moving into a mine field and receiving heavy damage. with the Idolon to our rear the rebel ship opened fire with all she had, but the Emperor had blessed us and every shot missed. We were not so lucky on the ork attack as the TitanSpika cannons found its target and the ork fighters swarmed.

turn 3 As we tried to escape from the crossfire of two capitol ships we turned to even a larger hornets nest when all three of the rebels capitol ships came down on the Wheatstraw. Now being hit from all side we fired all guns on all. Heavily damaged we struggled to find open field to repair.

turn 4 with speed from hell the TitanSpika did what orks do best and rammed from the front. as the ork ship hit we fired all guns forward and still couldnt stop the beast from connecting.

Turn 5 Unable to move the Idolon came for our side and rammed home ripping the ship in two.

Turn 6 downed our sister ship the Tanaka came to the rear of the Idolon and destroyed her.

end of game found that the Empire Loyalist had the day

painted all the mini cannons and will stain the ship sides and guns on thursday

so i have added the more paint to the ship and i have found something better than magnets for moving parts, hollow tubes to let the turrets spin. i should have this all ready for the event this saturday. i should also have the other ship touched up and ready to go. after the event i will work on the fine detail work and touch up paint.

so like the other ship before this i am closer to the finish. I should have to outside hull painted up by this weekend and ready to show. now the inside is a different story. I dont think the inside will be ready by the 23rd of this month.

So i imaging that on this bridge we watch the greatest movie ever made while playing the calming tunes of a classic christmas album.

added some primer to the ship and started testing the extra decking to widen the ship. Took some advise on from the House of Water and will paint the ship and decking separate and glue together after painting is done.

Found a Young Tasty boy Ben, well i think its him. also started to prime the main guns and built the main tower chair, lift and ladder. also added the secondary guns holder along the side.
