About the Project

A long long time ago someone boxed up all their stuff to go to University where they met me. Some of those boxes have never been opened, until today. Help me work out what everything was, what it would be now, and see if we can get a valid starter army from any of it.

What of that is invalid by being squatted or by not having a minimum unit?

We don’t need two Eldrad Ulthran as he’s a character solo.
Black guard Wind Riders have a min unit size of 3 and we only have 2.
Harlequin Troupe have min unit size of 5 and we only have 4
I don’t have the codex to see if those Guardians all have legal weapons options, so lets ignore that for now and assume they’re legit.
Guaridans come in lots of 10 or 20 and I think we have 36 so we can leave a box unopened and still have 2 units.

I googled. This could be out of date.

So for a 25pl detachment everything is allowed. Pointwise, our two H options are middle of the road, which isnt terrible.

Troopwise, we don;t have many choices, but they’re not too expensive and we can max a large unit if we want. Not a terrible start, even if I’ve no idea what anything does as I don’t know 40k yet.

I suppose the next stage should be to check the base sizes and at least prepare some new bases and some fresh Blu Tak for the square based models at the least.
