Join us as we fire up the 1993 SSI Classic “Panzer General” (“PG Forever” fan edit) for an 80th anniversary wargame of the Battle of the Bulge.

In late December 1944, the Germans launched a desperate, all-out offensive in the quiet Ardennes region of Belgium and Luxembourg. Initially surprised and woefully overpowered, the Americans must recover, stabilize the line, bring in reinforcements, and organize counterattacks to defeat this last frantic gasp of the German war machine in the West.

Oriskany Jim and Piotr have completed their tours of the Ardennes battlefields, marking the 80th Anniversary of the Battle of the Bulge (also made a swing through the Waterloo museum and battlefield).

Suffice it to say not everything went according to plan – including emergency (life-saving) surgery and unexpected hospital stays. But hey, now we have some great stories from the trip.

Best of all, however, after ten years of legendary friendship and collaboration, Oriskany Jim and “Yavasa” Piotr have finally met face-to-face!
