I got some 25mm MDF bases in the mail and got the minis off their painting bases and onto these gaming bases

Good old fashioned sand bases. I want to keep with the Irish theme and have some water puddles on the bases because of the strong association between water and the supernatural in Gaelic mythology.Good old fashioned sand bases. I decided to theme my Warband on a Group of Irish Catholics. Basically the idea that in a Supernatural war the British Government has seconded a group of Catholics to Papal Service so long as it doesn't interfere with their British Army duties. It also lets me justify adding some Spanish or Italian minis down the road and opens up some additional Lore for games in Italy ect. I have given them all a Papal Cockade which I'm sure the British Government of the day would find most unacceptable but times are desperate.

Dr. Jack Sullivan - Doctor and generic British Uniform with non-regulation pants to break it up a bit. I tried to use unique colors where I could to make the warband look interesting not just a collection of regular people.Dr. Jack Sullivan - Doctor and generic British Uniform with non-regulation pants to break it up a bit. Dr. Liam Lynch - Supernatural Investigator. Calls himself a doctor but nobodies sure of what. Knows more than is healthy for a sane man to know about the Supernatural. A man in his mid 20's his hair is pure white from fright after first encountering a Kelpie during everyday military duties he lobbied for the creation of this unit. The gloves are worn because during the encounter his hands were stuck to the creature and he had to tear them off leaving them badly scarred. The rest will be in Part Two. I also want to do up some more lore and background for this warband as I feel that's where the real flavour comes from in a game like this

I definately reggretted the Beige layer for the pants. I never use that and I wanted to try it. A light grey gives a much better undertoneI definately reggretted the Beige layer for the pants. I never use that and I wanted to try it. A light grey gives a much better undertone

Some of these were painted and some weren't. I wanted to do this project for fun so the first step was to strip all the minis that I had previously painted, the Officer and Artilleryman were already undercoated.
