So I added two 15mm items to the list, which arrived this week. The first was a sci-fi recycling plant and the second one was a European workshop/factory, to used in games of Flames of War and Team Yankee.

Both items were 3-D printed, the sci-fi item was a one piece, whilst the factory was multi-part. They both painted up really easily and quickly. I used a mix of contrast, normal paint and washes. The aim was to slap some paint on both piece as quickly as possible.

Once those were finished started on a two piece scatter terrain plastic fountain, which was given a coat of grey on most of the fountain, then in water areas some shades of blue.  I also built a small 28mm workshop in MDF, which I’ve made a start on the getting it painted.

I have a large box of unbuilt terrain that cover multiple periods and scales that require building and painting. I also need to scratch build hedgerows, fences, roads and rivers,

The plan is to get everything built over the next couple of months, then painted already for the tabletop in 2026. Another thing I have is a box of scatter terrain that will also need to be based and painted.

I’ve included photos of everything I have that requires building and painting, though there are some items currently in the post of the way to me. These are a few 15mm sci-fi and WW2 terrain pieces.
