Oops 100 miniatures

About the Project
I signed up to the GW painting challenge. Knowing that I have well over a hundred GW minis unpainted I thought it would be an easy enough task. Then I realised the expiry date set the bar higher than I expected. I have to do this by the 9th of May! That's almost a miniature a day from the date I made my pledge. Oops. I will give it the good old college try. 🤷 Wish me luck.

The naughty number
Just to be silly, a friend has a Slannesh model they would like me to repaint for them. And as the number 69 has a connotation, and Slannesh have a reputation, it seemed appropriate to park this number and continue painting around it until he can get the mini to me to paint. (April 19th seems to be the likely date for that. Playing D&D together. 👍)
Plaguebearers
Found some parts and bodies in a bits box donation from a friend so will be able to build more than the regular 10 in a box. I don’t know how these play in 40k or AoS, so I had to chose how to base them for the best. I went with a mix of dirt and stones oneside and rocks and grass the other. This kinda takes it away from Sci-fi but that’s fine by me for now.
Nurgle fun
I am trying to catch up with my pledge numbers by swapping to some Nurgle minis that I think will paint up faster and easier.
Killteam Leagues of Votann - This time it's personal
I want to finish this set of minis ASAP. I wish it was mainly because I wanted to get a game played or just to add the tally to my hundred. I want to finish these ASAP because sadly I am not enjoying painting them. It's my own fault for choosing the black trim on the coat, but I feel committed to it and I just have to knuckle down and finish the set. I think they will look pretty good as a squad at the end, but it's become a chore rather than a joy.Progress report
I have stalled slightly, but know where I am going next.
I have 5 Flamer toting Space Marines from the front of a Combat Patrol magazine. Built and primed black.
I have about 5 Leagues of Votann Killteam minis built and primed red. I don’t know why I have been adverse to getting into these. They are nice models.
I bought the newly released Spearhead Magazine. It has a collection of 3 characters for only £2.99. Skaven and Stormcast. Though I had these in my Skaventide box, for that low cost it felt like a bargain and they may play as multiples in the game. Really looking forward to the second release as it’s 3 rat ogres for only £6.99 and I loved painting the 3 I already have.
I have two characters from the Crimson Coven? Underworlds minis that I actually bought just to be characters in my skirmish games like Silver Bayonet and Frostgrave etc. These too have been primed for a while, but there’s something about how busy the model’s details are is putting me off.
I have two witch hunters, one of the anniversary or special release minis. Galen and Doralia ven Denst: Outnumbered.
I have a day off but a bit busy, the weekend should be available to get back on track though.
