Infinity 3rd Edition was revealed at FicZone 2014 last weekend and we were there to hear all the awesome news! We have an exclusive English version of the seminar we recorded with Carlos from Corvus Belli at his hotel just after the Spanish reveal!
As if that wasn't enough to get you Infinity fans excited we also got Carlos to share loads of the new concept art for the forthcoming miniatures!

I really, really. Love the figures for this game and I really, really must get to play it at some point. ( If I can convince my anime hating friends to look past the asthetics of anything that isn’t Blood Bowl or Necromunda. lol )

I would say that the 2nd paint suggestion seem the more intriguing as the others had some big “plain” areas on the shoulder pads.
I like color scheme 3. I prefer the pale skin tones of 2 and 3, but 2 just doenst seem like something a warrior would wear. It looks like a hunter who wants everyone else to be able to see him. Scheme 3 has that nice alien aesthetic, but he can easily look like he is fighting in a jungle or at night.
The Ariadna wolves look the best!

Hello CB and BoW! Will the current sectorials recieve any new units or profiles for existing units at all and will each of the factions receive a new unit for their upcoming sectorials this year either in the 3rd edition book or army builder for Aleph and Tohaa? Thank you in advance guys, wuji from Las Vegas.
If you observe closely, Neotera Bolts are for… Neotera, so yes, old Sectorials will get new troops.
Great news, one can only anxiously wait to see this “resculpt” of the rulebook!

Most of the models all look the same to me, all with tight fitting, over-decorated armour.
I think the Tank Hunter with HMG is probably my favourite looking model from the Ariadna faction so I can’t wait to see how they get ‘improved’ in the coming months. Great news about the Antipode assault pack too (I passed on the original box but these look ace) but perhaps what I am most excited about are the Spetsnaz paratroopers! Maybe I’ll be able to swap out the Yuan Yuan from my book legal, but not ITS legal, Ariadna force and field something that is fully ITS kosher!

Looking very much forward to these bad boys but a 2 player box would be awesome, especially if you couldmget plastic basic troops loke fusillier etc. Also hope they turn this into a game where the option to have a larger force is also viable. 🙂
Neither plastic, nor larger battles is in the scopes of Infinity.
I am aware of that, was just daydreaming out load. hehe. Would be epic though imho.
Tastes I guess, but why ruin the amazing detail and posture Infinity has with plastics, or I guess be forced to deal with a huge amount of parts to maintain it, likewise why ruin the ideal models per playspace ratio Infinity has.
Because I want another excuse to buy more and also I am not saying do away with skirmish, just add to it to allow both playstyles. Plastics have great detail imho, you only have to check out the WWX Hired Hands to see this. 🙂 It would also allow a mass produced 2player set to help recruit people imho. 🙂
Yep, made the mistake of watching this video with my girlfriend in the room. She saw the Fast Pandas, jabbed a finger at the screen, and yelled “BUY ME THOSE!” 😐
Bad timing for me, my infinity group is no more and I can’t find any new infinity player’s, I hope this will bring them back

Every time they come out with something like this I just want to throw my money at them. The new 3D sculpts look amazing. I just hope they dont start to get a bit samey.
At any rate I will be buying the new rule book, the Interventors (fast pandas lol), the antipodes,, the …….. sigh who am I kidding I will buy most of it. 🙂

What amazing sculpts. I don’t play Infinity however I might have to just for these minis. Oh Lord I have to have a bigger house to put all this stuff.
Carlos is boss! Great coverage as usual BoW. This has decided it for me, gona defo start playing Infinity now. Only problem is how to pick which faction, when all the models are so good! Colour scheme 2 for me.
Do like I did, buy them all! Pretty myuch had to as we have no group, live in a rural area, so my daughter and wife are my only opponents. The only problem is all the painting, still fun though. Good luck.
Warren, BoW, Carlos, thanks much for the presentation from the Lobby of “Hotel Carlos”(HC stickers all over the glass). The new stuff rocks the house, looking forward to the new edition and sculpts. AUGH!!! The woman on the cell phone at 43:30! I know this is a hotel lobby but while you’re yapping on the cell phone you’re staring RIGHT at the cameras! You are clearly in someone’s video shoot! If you’re going to video-bomb Warren like this at least give him a kiss like the “very handsome bloke” at Salute. 😀
I enjoyed that. Whilst I am pleased about a new edition with better translations and streamlined rules, and that the two expansions are not invalidated, I have to confess I would have liked to see rules like link teams find there way into the main rules, if only foe convenience.

As ever Corvus Belli do it right. Admit your rulebook has issues, work on them for years, release a new book and make it free to get if you just want to play the game.
As far as the CA troop goes I think 3 is the best option, the orange just does not work for me for some reason.
Finally, I want Fast Panda’s now.

Will those new Antipodes be ‘Caledonia only’? Because they look awesome! I’d like to get them in my army, but if I go Ariadnan it will probably be the Merovingian sectorial army. Currently I collect Haqqislam and Nomads.
I’d also like to know if component parts will be come available at any time? I have ideas for some anime-inspired conversions, but at the moment it’s really expensive to create those when I only need a spare arm or head from a certain kit. Being able to mix and match different components would greatly expand the modeling potential for Infinity.
And I think the 2nd color scheme for the Combined Army model looked best, because it had some obvious contrast colors to accentuate the model. That being said, none of those schemes really popped, so perhaps some more alternatives could be considered.
Looking at the images in the books and on the website, perhaps the Batroids could be colored like a Charontid. The models have a similar kind of structure. So make the body yellow(ish) and invert the grey and anthracite colors on the armor. The pink accents could stay or be exchanged for a dark purple.

Great video…. not a wasted moment… the upgrades should improve things; I imagine that they’ll purge images of OOP miniatures. The quality of the miniatures has improved from a already very high level…..
I am fortunate that my Brother is a regional Infinity Guru, I would be obligated to play anyway; I can’t be held to blame because I like Infinity on its own merits. On occasion my Brother will get into “discussions” on the interpretations of a given rule… it can be quite diverting 🙂
