Wildchevy is on the search for more interviews at Gen Con and he's tracked down Jaima our Buddy Romeo's lovely wife to have a chat about what the Battle Foam team have been working on.

Excellent product. Apaulling customer service. 5 weeks and counting on my order.
KR Multicase is better IMHO (but there are probably as many opinions as there are users out there) 😉
KR makes more useful bags. I’m planning on selling my BF bag because I never use it anymore now that I have a KR one. The BF bags just don’t have enough extra pockets for transporting tape measures, card decks, rule books, templates and everything else I take with me to a game that isn’t a mini.
BF does make better foam though. The foam KR uses is designed for toolboxes and other heavy-duty uses. It’s surface is more likely to rub off paint over time and it has a weird odor.
I use KR bags and cardstock boxes, but I’m starting to get the foam laser cut locally at a local hackerspace (using the same foam BF uses, just purchased in sheets and then cut using my own CAD files). I wish there was one company that got all of the right pieces put together in one product. Or just one company out there that would easily cut foam in any shape for you without always trying to push their own bags’ sizes.
I love my Battle Foam bags. I have a C4, 2x Infinity Beta and an Alpha. The New rulebook bag looks like a great item for me as I have about 1.5 meters of rule books atm so being able to pack them away nice and tidy could be a great way to free up some more shelf space for even more minis!! 😀 I like the colour of the red bag too and I hope that more colours become available. The foam i certainly better than the KR stuff and I only store non painted items in them. The base of each BF tray has a semi rigid base which stops the trays from twisting and flopping under weighted stress. The foam also fits VERY snugly into the bags to further reduce model movement. I was once very sceptical of BF and glad I took the plunge to try it myself. If you haven’t tried BF yet, get a smaller rigid bag or perhaps just the GW sized BF trays. After all, no one is a better judge of you likes and dislikes than you. 🙂 I also have 2 large GW plastic cases, 1x small GW plastic case and 3x KR card boxes (which the British climate does not like, but can be used for crap model long term storage, hehe).
