Dawn sits down to have a chat about an awesome add on for gaming. Dized promises to real time to teach you how to play your games. Companies are literally reaching out to these guys for them to build the interface for their rules.
This will take the burden off of someone to have to read the rules and try to teach the game the game to you and your friends. Pretty cool!

What a great idea! Now if they can get this sorted for Kingdom Death: Monster (my copy arrives later this year) I’m in!

This looks like a great idea. Instead of going through the rule book you have an interactive way of learning the games and looking up the rules in a digital way. From the small demo it looks really high quality. Looks like they have a Indiegogo happening later this year. The only thing that I want to know is how they will be charging? The developer needs to make money, the publisher is going to want to make money — interesting how they monetize this app.
I like the concept but a lot will depend on the price point

Thats a very interesting idea. I hate having to learn all the rules. Love the fluff but when it comes to rules they dont satay in very long. Maybe this will help?
I think this is a heck of an idea. Would help my gamegroup not have the same like 2 people that teach us everything

This is such a great idea, I keep trying to drag my family into playing games with me and its the long winded rules that stop it from happening. eg we went to play Fireflys for the first time and by the time we had gone through the rule book we were to tired and went to bed lol. Never got to play at all. 🙁
Here we are on the third and final day. It’s been a long weekend but for anyone who attended apparently a fun one. However, since it is the final day then it’s my last chance to shamelessly post as I’m going after either the 4Ground stuff or the Bushido stuff. I play Bushido here in the states. I teach it to whoever will listen, and I just try and represent it as it is. The best miniature game I’ve ever played.
Good idea. Would be great for this to take off and for manufacturers to allow there games into this.
With social media like it is, then I don’t think there is any excuse for a company not to have a let’s pay video made, either by themselves or using a platform like this in the future.
How does a publisher get the rules for their game on the database?

If its free (or cheap enough) to end users and works as well as he wants that could be a huge help. My copy of Scythe is still in its foil as I’m too intimidated to read the rules.
This is amazing this will make playing games so much easier, really cool concept. The bigger it gets the more value it will have but something like this can really change gaming and make it a lot more accessible to more people.
