Title says it, we also gave him the Codex and a small carry case, but the little Terminator ripp-offs where the stars 🙂
Leadbelcher primed, then purple wash for the purple metallic effect, layered gree lenses and gold as secondary color.
Building, priming and painting took me about 8 1/2 hours total for a decent tabletop standard. Kept the scheme simple and easy to replicate, so he can easily expand if he wants too, and not varnished in case he wants to touch it up or change it or add any markings.

Looks great — do you have a close up? Would be awesome to see what quality you can get done so quickly … especially since I am on the fence with Forgebane primarily due to concerns about painting time.
did not have time to take a lot of pictures but I’ll ask my buddy to take some ot bring them again so I can take some pictures 🙂
Nice work getting a starter set done fast. Something I struggle with all too often!
They look great – I’ll need to get mine done!
