Titans Clash and Heroes Fight For Middle-Earth at Games Workshop

Games Workshop have brought a lot of exciting new releases with them, letting fans and players get their first look at the miniatures for Adeptus Titanicus and The Battle of Pelennor Fields.

They also have a bunch of exclusive new board games that will be heading out for retail at locations such as Barnes & Noble.

GW just makes the most detailed minis on the market …

amachan

The most detailed plastic mini’s I can get behind, but the most detailed mini’s, no definitely not.

emptynessisform

i’d argue KD:M for plastics to be honest although GW do make some nice stuff

amachan

Kingdom Death: Monster is on par with GW in my opinion and both are also very much on the edge of what it possible with plastics at this moment.

cerealklr02

Kill Team looks awesome and it looks like so much fun to play. I can’t wait for the new Lord of the Rings game as welll.

jemmy

The Pelennor thing and Kill Team: Yes, that is something. Hope there will be a Chaos Space Marine faction for the latter.

Interesting to see GW targeting games specifically at mainstream retail outlets again (unless I misunderstood?).

rfernandz2001

Barnes and Noble has added ‘geeky’ niche toys and games to their stores in recent years. Presumably B&N is expecting exclusive GW products to bring in more customers while GW gets to market to more casual players. I’m with you, will be interesting to see how this goes.

caledor2

Looking forward to Titanicus, finally I will be able to get titans without paying heaps of money.

bigdaddio

May have to get the Pelennor Fields box

What a difference a few years make.I remember you guys being told to stop filming at games day not so long back, and now they have people like James fronting a stand at gencon.

It really is astonishing when you look back at the attitude the company developed from 2010 or so onwards.

tmon

GW makes the best but they aren’t cheap.

mc1gamer

Still the best in the biz

emptynessisform

James is awesome

yoshi

Still no price for Titanicus ?

I had a dream an it was 300€…

cousins286

Bring on Titanicus

darkdanegan

We need more James. And titans.

guillotine

didn’t have the guts to ask for a prize 😉

darthsarak

Kill Team is calling my name. I was intimidated when I heard about the size of the rulebook, but then found out it’s mostly lore.

zorg

killteam units are looking very tempting.

warhound67

Amazing Stuff !!

turak

Would love to be there for kill team. Just painting my Skitarii now.

inu53

The new and improved GW is way better, a breath of fresh air compared to the old oppressively corporate ways. Definitely want to get in on kill team and I have a mighty need for titanicus.

thegaffer87

Games Workshop are killing it this year! Excited for Kill Team, but more excited at the possibility of a movie/TV series based in the Warhammer universe 🙂

normandyfan

Titanicus looks awesome

tahatan

Bring on the warhounds for titanicus

gobbo

TITANICUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!

apolonios

Damn Lord of the Rings why do you have a special place in my Heart…Thats a nice expansion

lawnor

I was expecting more content from GW. Im curious what this space marine adventures is.

Titans, I’m not going to buy them, but I really want them

dodgyfarmer

Kill Team, Renegade and Forgebane are all on my shelf waiting for assembly and paint, but Titanicus is a tough one. “Space Marine” the Epic Horus Heresy game was my first big GW purchase, along with loads of 6mm kits as they came out. As beautiful as Titanicus is, I don’t think I can start over in 10mm. Willpower, check book, and the I-wannas are all battling it out.

stainless001

Just out of curiosity, for the LOTR board game that they’ve got, if we live in the UK how do we acquire it? I’m not sure if there are any Barnes & Nobles’ here :/ The Battle of Pelenor Fields is a must-have though

fettmonger

I’d love to learn more about the Warhammer boardgames. Everything looks so cool. Wish I was there.

mpc2160

The GW guys at Gencon were amazing and I can’t wait to play Titanicus. Also Kill Team looks amazing.

falerox

GW’s relentless assault on my wallet continues lol.

goban

Hi James, where is Barns & Nobel outside USA

fujouri

Titanicus is definitely really tempting, but I wish it would have been set in the 40k setting instead of the Horus Heresy setting. That way there might have been massive demons or Tyranids to fight. Totally could have had the traditional giant robot vs. giant monster thing going on.

radegast6

no sound

redsarge

Ah I like this new social GW! I mean it’s marketing, and they’re doing it well.
