Good to see! Cant wait to see some more videos of games being played!

warhammergrimace

I’m thinking I’d like to build a LRDG/SAS unit, really like the kitted out vehicles. I’d definately add some looted German kit to them as well.

oriskany

My Warlord LRDG vehicles. Very good, and they have many types for different loads of kit / truck and jeep types.

rot6

nice looking minis

sneakyrabbit

Forward!

rot6

Is someone playing SAS?

oriskany

– Just my pre-built LRDG / SAS force. Didn’t get into action, I’m sad to say. But no worries! Now I have DAK forces to build and paint they can go up against!

lawnor

Too many people have too much built and painted for just 24 hours work.

avernos

it’s madness isn’t it? Thankfully I helped pull the average down 😉

torros

Did you get anything done or were you having too much fun interviewing people?

avernos

no painting, but I got my army built. Home now and doing some more clean up work on the minis so I can paint them

skodamarine

Makes me think I should do something about my unpainted mountain of plastic…. 🙂

dugthefug1644

Great work folks – looks like you’re having a great time. Enjoy.

toricova

normandyfan

somegeezer

Fwoar. More pics of that LRDG truck, please!

oriskany

Thanks, – here is the project thread for them:

https://www.beastsofwar.com/project/1257172/

We also talk about them briefly in the XLBS episode this week.

somegeezer

Looking good they are, too.

collins

Some cracking images here

jemmy

Ah, is that oriskany´s LRDG? ´t would be nice to see them in a game. Blowing up German Heinkels and Junkers like in the documentary I watched on telly.

oriskany

Yep, that’s the same. 😀

zorg

Looks like trouble for the Germans with the LRDG on the prowl.

oriskany

Bwahaha! 😀

radegast6

Gerry ! I miss you Buddy !

avernos

hope you’re keeping well and we’ll see you soon for a drink at a bootcamp matey 🙂

georgesealy

That’s an awfully nice truck for the LRDG (SAS?) – someone BYO’d I take it?

avernos

yes, Oriskany brought his as he wouldn’t have time to build, paint and run the campaign

oriskany

Thanks and – Yep, those are my small 16-man LRDG/SAS force, with two 3-man 30cwt Chevrolet trucks.

Good to see the Long Range Desert Group in the action

doomzombie

Gaming at last, looks like every one is having a great time. Where did the SAS spring from, and lovely painted minis.

Top picture…North is that way Tommy.

oriskany

Thanks, and . – the full project thread is here. These minis actually had a rough start, but thanks to encouragement and advice from the community – managed to save them.
