Exclusive! Martin Wallace Introduces Runestone!

Warren was able to stop in for a chat with Martin Wallace about his new game which has been in the works for five years now. This is Runestones. We’re immediately interested!

Delve into a description of how the game works and the thinking behind it. It’s a Fantasy wargame for between two to six players which takes some Viking elements and throws plenty of awesome fantasy races into the mix too.

Considering that board only has a tracker on two sides and the map has large land boarders on the other two, it’s dying for another three boards to join onto it to make an epic sized map to fight over. 😉

I like the idea of bluff and double bluff but I have a terrible poker face!

Just wondering of the production cost of this leading into the retail cost; cloth board though sounds good!

marktarver

interesting, not sure on cloth, unless it comes with a ice iron to keep it flat.

ismithe

Sounds interesting!

Nice looking map board…. And much as I love some FF games, they are over reliant on tokens.

horati0nosebl0wer

An interesting game idea but needs a bit more of a sales pitch for show. Enthusiasm is infectious. He just needs to psych other people up with presentation of it.

laughingboy

fireblarney

I really like the look of that one, I’ll have to keep an eye out on kickstarter come November.
