Hey guys, so I was prepping some more minis today ready for painting this weekend. I am at the point where they need spraying. Something I have started doing recently is using old sprues to mount them on.

I have been working with mainly resin and was finding that when mounted on a base some areas weren’t getting a good base coat when I was spraying them so I have started to raise them up for better access. It also really helps when trying to reach those areas when painting.

Hope this might help one or two of you out.

This is a great idea. I still can’t get to grips with my airbrush so use rattle cans a lot for priming and zenith highlighting (hey, I know, but it’s better than nothing, right?). This is such a simple fix but already makes a difference – hitting the undersides of arms and cloaks and things is much easier!

@blinky465 I am the same as you buddy when it comes to having an airbrush and still using rattlecan sprays 🙂 Glad you found it useful buddy.
