Heys guys so with the first half of the year already coming to an end I felt like I needed to reorganise and maybe revitalise my hobby area as it had started to become cluttered and wanted to turn it into an easy challenge for the community.
Why not use this post as an excuse to have a tidy of yours if it needs it. If it is already spic and span happy days take a photo and post it here. If it is in need of some love and care and you feel okay too, do a before and after shot or just give it a full reset and post the final results here.
Just a bit of fun guys but hopefully it might help one of two who are struggling to find motivation right now.
Happy hobbying everyone!

June 27, 2020 at 11:52 am #1543961getting that amount of hobby space would require me to find permanent storage for my computer and associated gear …
I’m not ready for that (yet)Although I probably ought to reorganise that space just to see if I can get a bit of hobby space set up.
It is worth thinking about at least. The one thing I have learned is that one can never have enough cupboards and things to store stuff.
I just wish I knew that before as reorganising everything is a monumental task at the moment.
If it hadn’t been for this pandemic I might have gotten a good start to do excactly that though.June 27, 2020 at 1:04 pm #1543965@limburger Well fingers crossed buddy when I post this again at Christmas time maybe you will be able to post up some pics then.
June 27, 2020 at 1:50 pm #1543967@noyjatat I’m not saying which Christmas 😉
With my kind of speed I might have a new house before I reorganize my hobby/computer space at my current location.
😀Finding time to do stuff like this between the much needed me-time is a challenge though.
June 29, 2020 at 12:22 am #1544529That’s a nice setup @noyjatat !
Hear’s my bloody mess!
I also have a “side pit stop” and, after droping half a dozen items trying to pick up one this afternoon, i decided i need to organize too!
I plan on looking out for MDF paint storage sections, or maybe get something like your “plexi” solution. I have about 60% of Army Painter bottles in my arsenal and the rest are Citadel.
June 29, 2020 at 7:40 am #1544579That’s a good size space buddy, interested to see what you choose to store your paints in and how you re-arrange things 🙂
June 29, 2020 at 6:49 pm #1544789It’s been worse, then again I did tidy it a little a week ago when I replaced my old lamp with two new ones. For those on a tight budget those two lamps came in at a mind blowing £9 each brand new courtesy of Ikea. Add two cool white LED bulbs from the Amazon Basics range for £7.59 a pair and you’re laughing.
June 29, 2020 at 8:19 pm #1544818June 29, 2020 at 8:33 pm #1544825@noyjatat, ? now you come to mention it, he does, yes.
June 29, 2020 at 9:31 pm #1544850Thanks, will try to remember to post pics once it’s done!
I’ve spotted a few MDF paint racks from TTCombat already, they’re not expensive, still need to check out other options…

Hopefully I can make everyone feel a bit better about themselves. Truth be told everything I’ve painted, bar a couple of bits, is done sat cross legged on the floor, but it’s been working so far so I’m loathed to fix it. I do really need to get some of the done stuff on shelves proper, I’ve not moved the guildball or X-wing in well over a year.
