Damn I would have love to have been there for this 😀
Warren said earlier today he’d wished you’d been here today. You would have put us all to shame with your sharp dressing.
Brilliant guys. Really looking forward to the shows. The trailer at the end had me laughing. Not quite sure what happened to Justins face? Maybe its just his face?
its just my face…. 🙂
Looks great fun guys
Great behind the scene show guys and you all look very handsome in your suits.
Hey, if I could ask @lloyd . . . what software do you use for video animation, editing, rendering, and codec resolution?
Oh Sam…….brown trainers!
No one told me we were wearing tuxes.
haha whenever I watch videos of you guys behind the scenes it always makes me smile, you look like you have a lot of fun.
In reality though is Warren a diva? 😉
Oh! But I’m sure he is! 😉
Who was the other guy in the other room behind Warren??
That looks amazing!
haha brillient!
hahah great !
excellent. looking forward to the show
Two Lloyds!
Epic intro guys love it :o) lol
Nice helmet.
Someone had to go there. I went there.
Was I the only one hearing the opening beat of the A-Team at the end?
Going by the Vids whats there A-Team nickname?
Very cool, guys! Really looking forward to the final production. Looks like you’re having a ton of fun.
Sharp dressed men!
Nice ending, I think John should of had a chrome helmet for such a formal occasion!
Fantastic, cannot wait to watch the big event
I genuinely thought Justin would have been in an actual monkey suit… the hitman look works too though.
Looking forward to it.
The last little green screen awards video made me laugh out loud at work and caused the rest of my office mates to stare at me. Well worth the price of backstage just for that laugh!!!!
I think you guys should send the Winners the awards. 🙂
Soon to be bigger and more interesting that the Oscars?
Well. They’re already more interesting. Bigger will come with time. 🙂
Great ending!!
This is going to be ace!!!
Loved it like the rest of the guys.
If all goes well you should actually host it with a live audience next year. Ill come over all the way from Sweden to cheer you on.
Excellent video guys! And really funny video at the end! I’m sure it’s going to be brilliant.
Keep on having fun, guys! Everybody needs a good laugh! Oh! And @dracs… Don’t worry dude, we, little people, will get our revenge someday. 😉
Very dashing fellas!
You all look very sharp. Funny ending.
As usual another top job. Looking forward to the awards. The humour spot on!
The double Lloyd was pretty cool.
That last bit was absolutely incredible. Well done you guys! You’re simply the best.
Excellent ending !
Looking forward to it guys.
Great fun, the best looking group of waiters I’ve seen for ages! Merry Christmas Guys.
Looking good! Its great to see BoW developing, growing and becoming more and more fun over the years.
You guys look liked the introductions in Anchorman, fantastic
Hmmm… yeah, I voted too because the site stuck it in my face, but…
These are pretty much all commercial products.
What I’d really like to see is instead of industry awards would be hobby awards, awarded to regular hobbyists for noncommercial projects.
Best blog. Best podcast. Best demonstration game. Best tutorial.
Or even curveballs like: Craziest Project. Cheesiest Army List. Most Loopholes Found. Longest time to paint a single miniature.
Because beyond the immediate entertainment value, what’s the benefit of all this? We all knew the nominees anyway. Maybe someone will take another look at the winner based on this, but likely it won’t really affect anyone’s behavior. The winner will smile, shake hands and then maybe use the image in advertising.
Whereas hobbyist awards (and even nominations) could genuinely bring forward stuff people would not otherwise have seen.
Are we creators too or are we just fanboys?
Let’s get this years under our belt and see where we take it from there 🙂
@maxxon, those are all good ideas… But there’s no reason not to do both. The nominees were after all nominated by us people, and we are all here because we have some interest in what is happening in the industry.
Also, it’s easy to forget how many people out there may indeed be new to a bunch of these nominees. It’s probably less common these days to know of nothing but GW, but some of the nominees are not big companies by any stretch of the imagination, and some of them I’ve only heard of because I follow BoW regularly.
If the awards are expanded to include more ‘grass roots’ categories in future (or there is an alternative way of spotlighting non-commercial talent), it’s worth bearing in mind that it’s likely that semi-commercial people will again do well. Blogs that have big followings are likely to do well, even if they consist of little more than release updates and re-posts from elsewhere, simply because they’ve got big followings. Which isn’t a reason not to look for work from the community, but you (or @warzan, if BoW decide explore this) will need to work out exactly how to make it work / worthwhile.
HAHAHAHAHA poor sam at the end
Awesome!
@warzan you need @lafayette there… we could all crowd fund his ticket 😉
when when will this show goes up?
This is going to be even better than the Oscars and the Noble prize awards!
Hahaha! That was an expertly cheesy intro for the awards. 😀 Will there be twin Lloyd’s in the awards too? 😀
John with in the helmet and tux reminds me of Franz Liebkind
looking awesome guys really glad its going to be in the new year week as i am away down in sunny Kerry for the xmas week back home on new years eve so really looking forward to this, Merry Christmas everyone 🙂
All looks very exciting and Justin wears a suit rather well.
Looking forward to it.
very funny, that a backstage video, nice one.
I really was not that particularly worried about the awards until, I got sucked in by Warren’s enthusiasm, and saw how great the tease at the end looks! Can’t wait, looks hilarious and fun!
