About the Project
After picking up the Evil Dead board game I decided to work on elevating it from board to scenery by building the cabin in the woods. As a die hard Evil dead fan I couldn't resist it. No one wants a board game when you can run around a 3D cabin. There is plenty of source material out there to recreate this classic movie set.

Piano
My cabin has been sitting in the corner looking groovy but I still haven't completed the interior. Now I have a 3d printer I had a look for a decent piano which I scaled to fit my room.
Army of Darkness board game
Yes I know my cabin has been neglected in the woods and still needs finishing. It hasn’t stopped me looking at the classic Army of Darkness game and thinking perhaps it too can be made 3D. A medieval castle build might make a change.
Furniture design
I thought I'd experiment on sketch up designing some furniture for my cabin. I've never tried anything like thus before as I'm not that technical but it converted to the printer just fine. I had a couple of goes on the desk with the tape recorder because I knew I wouldn't be able recreate it out if bits of cardboard. It's boosted my confidence so I'll try a few other pieces.

Don't open that trapdoor
After the great news of winning the runner up for the terrainfest and watching the video It was pointed out where is the trapdoor? I found a spare bit of mdf the right size and carved out the base. I was originally going to draw it on but that would be a waste.
I found a spare hand to have reaching out. I just need to add the chain which I hope to steal from the wife's jewellery box

I was up at 3 in the morning and unable to sleep I just cracked on with expanding my rooftop.
I sprayed it silver first for that tin roof look then worked some browns and black into it
Flocking the board really brings the cabin to life. I sprinkled a bit of greenery but concentrated on that autumn look. I put some dry leaves in a blender awhile ago.
I made sure the new roof got some dirt. I've added steps to the backdoor with a woodpile. Some dead trees as well. Still more to do today.
Roof
I wasn't intending to do the roof but I feel it needs it. Simple card with wooden porch struts. The roof isn't tiled but has sort of long slats so I will see what's its like painted and look at the rear roof for the rest of the cabin
