I know there are some people here who love their little lead miniatures. I’m not one of them. I 3d print and if it’s not made up of ones and zeros so I turn resin sludge into a nice, pristine mini in less than a couple of hours, I’m not really interested.
But that doesn’t mean we shouldn’t support our lead-loving community members either.
Especially not one who has done so much for the community over the years.
Andy Foster from Heresy Miniatures is having a bit of a hard time. He’s asking for help, but more than that, he’s after some more trade. So why not pop along to https://www.heresyminiatures.com/ and buy some miniatures?
Or, if like me, you’re not a fan of cluttering up the place with bits of easily-chipped lead, just buy the old bean a coffee.
I did. (Well, a few more than one).
Sometimes we need to look after our community members. Now is such a time.
Go on, you’ll feel better in yourself for it too!
I second that vote. Andy has done some really cool stuff and if you follow him on twitter you’ll see he is constantly doing new stuff, improving old sculpts and finding new ways of making your minis happen.
I’ve bought some models from him pre Brexit and also backed more then one of his Kickstarters as well as bought him a coffee and put money in his gofund.me when his ex-landlord decided to get really greedy.
I’m still waiting for him to do his skellibobs (the master models are soooo good looking) but currently I find myself in a place of “keep your money together”. Especially with Brexit making minis from the UK a luxury item more then a special hobby project. [Edit: I forgot that I have some hobby funds in my PayPal account thanks to payout from Twitch.tv. I think I’ll reinvest those funds into a gift voucher]
If you can, spread the word about Andys fantastic minis (SKY CLAD BORIS!) and grab some stuff. And if you do not want to buy any specific mini right now he also does gift cards. So buy now, shop later. Link to gift cards.

To quote some lad on YouTube: “Go ahead. Ding his dong. You know you want to do it!” 8)
A good candidate for Indie of the Week.
I’ve been eyeing up the Ghouls for a while, since before they were on Kickstarter so I pushed the button on them today. Really good looking vampire in bat form as well which I couldn’t resist. Worth noting that although most prices are discounted there is an additional discount code available at the moment if you are quick.
you’re going to love the ghouls. I’ve got them via the KS and they are nice and gruesome 🙂
Ghouls arrived today. Great quality castings, really clean. Super fast service too and there were even some free sweets too. Highly recommended.
I bought his Frost Troll for use with games of Frostgrave, the thing is MASSIVE (doesn’t fit on a circular 60mm base) AND comes with a selection of heads (so you can have ANGRY Troll, or a NOT SO ANGRY Troll). Plus it cost a mere £13.50, almost taking advantage of the poor man. Really worth taking a looksee for any monsters/beasts or NPCs for Frostgrave, Shadow Deep and even Stargrave. 🙂
Andy does some really nice miniatures. I have already have two versions of Boris and he’s great to paint up.
I love his ghouls and vampire model @zoidpinhead and keep meaning to get more (which I now might be a good time).
Also his Komodo Mech suit and rider is one of my favourite models I’ve painted this year.
