About the Project

I have decided to help keep my motivation, to do a weekly update of what I have been doing. This will hopefully stave off the fatigue of the never ending pile of potential, and also reassure me that I am sort of making progress. The project will have a range of miniatures from different genres such as kingdom death monster, burrows and badgers, moonstone, marvel crisis protocol, Star Wars shatterpoint and everything in between. The last count was about 850 miniatures, that need to be painted. Normally they are then stored away but at least they will be completed.

After last weeks golden button entry showed my broken Cosmic Ghost Rider, I had another attempt to fix the model.

It didn’t work, again.

So some clipping occurred and now the model looks like this.

Week 32 part 2

So the front of the vehicle is shorter, but it will do

Another couple of Moonstone models completed.  1 turned out better than the other, but that is OK both are acceptable.

First up is Liv, who turned out alright.

Then young Jack. The photo is actually better than the reality.

Next up is the Gnome airship which is almost done so hopefully I will photo it for next week.  There are also more gnomes in my future.

This week I also built my remaining Moonstone models, a few are not fully built for building purposes.

Thanks for the golden button.

I don’t think I like my images being that big on a screen as all I can see are the issues.

A few more Moonstone off the pile of potential.  These do include the WIPs from today’s XLBS.

So for this week I have decided to go back and do some Moonstone.

Knoll the Troll has been completed (except for the base as is usual for my Moonstone miniatures).  They turned out very green.

Then I have some gnomes which have been started and are up to this stage.  They are not bad and I have hope they will turn out alright.

Only one miniature painted this week.

I also based all of my Bushido miniatures.

Also I have started painting Knoll from Moonstone.

Only 2 models complete this week both from bushido.

I also have started to build my Warhammer Quest Cursed City.  17 models built and a shed load more to go.

Well fixing the model went……not well.

So it is back in the box and I will hopefully forget it ever existed.

Only the model painted this week as I am still struggling to find the love.  The model is Buzenbo from Bushido.  Although I like the model I have dropped it a couple of times so the wings keep falling off.

Despite that I mostly like the end result.

Week 27

The base still needs sorting but I am unsure what to do with it.

I may add this to my burrows and badgers collection so match it up with them.  Or start a new scheme for the Bushido miniatures.

6 month anniversary I guess.

have had a slow week due to a few struggles with motivation, but I did finish a couple more.

Not the best standard but good enough for tabletop if I ever use them for that.

First another KDM mini. Unusually for Kingdom Death it is a fully clothed female figure.

You would think with all the photos I take for these updates, I would be getting better but never mind.

Next up is Apocalypse for MCP, his paint job is alright, especially considering it is the second attempt after finding some unforgivable mould lines 80% through the first one.

I also tried to fix a broken miniature as some time in the last 22 months I painted a Cosmic Ghost Rider and the dropped it.  I have been putting off fixing it as the connection points are garbage and I am back handed.

Week 26

I may take couple of weeks off from painting as I haven’t been enjoying my end results.

But we shall see.
