About the Project
I managed to snag a French Bolt Action army for cheaps on Vinted.All assembled and primed, all I have to do is paint them.

Zut alors and all that.
Scrolling through Vinted the other day I stumbled across a presumably abandoned project, a fully built starter army and a few extra bits all primed and ready for paint. It was a steal, so I snapped it up.
The models had been primed white which meant whatever paint I use would need decent coverage.
I went with army painter dark battledress, the plan being to drybrush with medium battledress on the main uniform and then paint the rest of the gear.
I used the dark green for the Adrian helms, canvas for the packs, the other sand colour for covered helmets. The rifle and boot browns are fairly self explanatory.
Progress
I meant to post daily updates on progress, but I got a bit carried away. All I have left to do is base and add magnets (how do they work?) and washers because I am fancy.
Here are a few pics.
For the basing I used my own blend of fine flock, sand, fine clump foliage and coloured wood shavings that I picked up at the last Partizan. I was pretty happy with the results.
