Although, I guess, “fails to sell” is a spoiler.
I wonder why GW wouldn’t buy this for their archives? They do have a very active and excellently staffed archives department (or, they did?).
It’s cool to see the auction but the result of failure isn’t unexpected. As much as we want this to be highly valued the art market has spoken. Gaming is still a niche and for most who admire this don’t have the cash to drop on it. Its sad that there is more “real” fiat currency that is spent for online in games like EVE Online to purchase 1s and 0s.
