What I painted in 2026
Mixed sxi-fi
I’ve finished the main character from the Mantic sci-fi advent calendar that I got myself in 2024. It’s speed paint on the whole, and has been sat mostly done for months. I added some decals to the screen in it’s left hand and painted the base.
This is a piece of scatter that I picked up at the Border Reivers wargames show at the end of the summer. I cut a length of clear plastic that was a sweet container, slid it into place and assembled the rest. As before: speed paint with a decal on the screen.
That’s a very cool piece of scatter; the plastic tube is a great addition to it.
I was lucky that the tube fitted so well.
