Steel Legion
Finished something from the desk today.
Steel legion squad. I had mixed feelings starting this. I didnt like these when they came out as they seemed like Valhallan Ice Warrior resculpts and in a big way i think they are.
Painting them gave me old school feels, and actually made me sort of thankful in some ways for modern models and apprecieative of older models. The details are just not there. Some things are simplified and the shapes are unbroken with too much detail. So good and bad.
I stalled on these even though I enjoyed them, so in the end just glas they are done and they can join their brothers in DKK. 1 more squad to go of these and about 20 more squads of DKK. Next up as I am taking the good then bad is Ghazghull Thraka, just a shame I dont have a Yarrik to go with him.
