I would have love the 28/32 mm game so i could use their nice building in a game and i am getting older (50 ) so when i paint mini i prefer bigger size and more skirmishy games but this game look nice anyway 😉

Fantastic game on the Xbox back in the day, that has continued to produce quality set pieces and an engaging world (even if the story can be a bit impenetrable at times). Colour me excited.

I have never played HALO (not a console gamer) but this looks fascinating. The sheer enthusiasm it is garnering would lead me into giving this a go

Scale 1:100 equates to 15mm I think, so as well as the Halo game itself, maybe these minis could be useful in other games too. I play Bolt Action in 15mm and with Konflict 47 coming out later this year they could add a nice sci-if touch.

Hah! I was looking at the board thinking “Yeah its cool, and it’s nice that you can have so many Warthogs.. but I don’t know. It still seems a shame to do this at 15mm.

I’m a massive fan of the Halo IP and love what Spartan did with the Fleet Battles game. But I’m so much more excited for the Ground Command game. The chance to play out battle I’ve fought through as Master Chief or read about is great. They have really nailed it with the minis too. Too excited!
clever scale choice once you see it out on the table. Not sure I have any time for another game, but I’ll probably end up with some models anyway.

A few years ago I was trying to get hold of a bunch of Halo/boardgames to make a Halo/skirmish game, but no. Some one else did this way better then I could have imagined.
Would be fun the video/games industry followed up with more scaled miniatures! When do we get a 28mm Grunt?

Loving the uptake in smaller scale games eg 15mm and less than. Those smaller scales are the only true way to go mass battle imo.. 28s are great for a couple of squads but not for massed ranks and afv support in numbers…at least not on a 6×4 table anyways…. Looks good and hope it takes off well for Spartan
Are gamers in England so used to cameras rolling and people being interviewed that they just barge into frame without asking or apologizing? How wuuude!

I’ve always disliked Halo (even though ive played most of them =P) but this…. this is tickling me………. god damn their designs are pretty when they are small! One of my major gripes with Halo were the designs but this…. this makes them awesome…….. GOSH DARN
Absolutely stoked for Halo Ground Command, got the fleet battles, picked up the KR Halo branded multicase for it. Now plan to do something extra special with my 54mm Elite, thinking of converting it into an honour guard….

Was the board itself a recreation of a level from Reach or maybe Halo 4? The kinda open structure on the right and the water feature in the middle just felt really familiar?
My son loves all things Halo and went mad for the ground force stuff. Can’t wait too it’s out. Stood there while he was Naming everything 🙂

The miniatures are just stunning. The spaceship game wasn’t my cup of tea, but I can’t wait to get my hands on the ground war game.

Just finished painting my Halo Fleet Battles Fall of Reach set and I can’t wait to see how Ground Command plays!

And the other half of my cash went to Spartan although it was on Dystopian Wars and Planetfall admittedly not Halo. These guys are some of the, if not THE nicest people in the industry.

The space battle game never really caught my attention, but willing to give the ground game a good look
i love the halo games and am looking forword to giving the halo table top a chance.
I never got to play halo because me and my friends were all PlayStation fans and the exclusive contract kept it out of my gaming reach. I enjoyed the interviews on the weekenders recently and the alien miniatures, though tiny, were still able to be painted with character. Probably prefer this to the battle fleet game. Will keep watching out for this game.

Aha! They did the reverse Dropfleet Commander strategy.
Could find very little Spartan stuff to buy at salute apart from some Dystopian legions in a bargain bin and some Halo fleet stuff dotted around.The demo area they had didn’t seem to have product on display to buy which I thought was really odd!
