@mulletsteve Looks fine to me. I don’t think the white patches are in the typical style of a killer whale. They look more like camo patterning. If you’re really worried I’d just change the white colour of the ‘lower jaw’ area. That’s the only thing that makes me think killer whale. And then only after you […]

Good to see that you are finally moving ahead on something for yourself, Mel. Does this suggest that you may actually get some gaming in? Man you have been busy of late.

Privateer Press dive into the world of Warmachine with some more of their releases this week as they focus in on the Rhulic forces and their Hammerfall Siege Crawler . “A testament to the engineering brilliance of the Rhulfolk, the Hammerfall Siege Crawler paves the way for assaults on hard targets. Firing its thunderous siegebreaker cannons to crack open fortress walls […] -

That’s a beautiful group of figures, very characterful. I love the idea of Inquisimunda – all that freedom for telling great stories and modelling fun figures. I made myself an inquisitor and his retinue a few years ago and played a game or two, but it petered out through lack of people to play against […]

@fishman Nice work on the cannon, is that the old GW Empire stuff? @cpauls1 *sigh* You sir, put me to shame. You get more done in an evening than I get done in weeks 🙂 I am really looking forward to seeing them all lined up in all their glory should look amazing. @victoriag Lovely candle holder, was […]

No need for apologies. I didn’t know the answer . I was wondering like in the case of WW1 the ANZACS were just shipped straight to Cairo for the Western Desert campaign. Not sure if any. NZ units fought in the Western Desert though

Who doesn’t like to game with some Highlanders? That’s what the fellows from Wargamer’sHomestead thought as well so they’ve created the WWII Highlanders Battalion Miniatures . Historically the last time kilts were worn in combat is the Battle of Dunkirk (May 26th, 1940 – June 4th, 1940) by the Queen’s Own Cameron Highlanders, so this project features: The Command team […] -

I’m not sure if you have heard about the inq28, or the inquisimunda, rulesystem? Think of it as the even smaller version of killteam with just a handful of models. It is the development of the old Necromunda rules that GW released in the 90ies. Just like many of the specialist games the community continued […]

Well said. Like many people, I have more hobbies than time. I started painting about 25 years ago, just after high school. All I had were the rather poorly made lead minis from the 70’s and early 80’s. It wasn’t until ’92 that I met someone who had Warhammer 40 models, which were a ton […]
