As an American living in the South, let me chime in my two cents here. I feel this particular issue with the Confederate flag being removed and banned is a question on several levels. On some levels I feel “removing” it is the right thing to do, on others I do not. Most immediately to […]

I think they’ve deliberately left themselves almost endless potential in the background.
There are 8 worlds, and they’re all described as being immense.
I think there’s tonnes of scope for an RPG. Don’t think GW would be keen to licence out the IP for a long time yet though.

I’m not entirely sure it would work as well. Everything seems keyed into the mighty armies compared to the common man – at least right now – so it might be something a little way down the line. I’m not sure how much free thought the Stormcast have so it couldn’t work too well as […]

Back on topic. I think you could play AoS with ranked units as I also think the rules are very loose like the way Black powder / Hail Caeser rules are. From the games I have played with AoS the 4 page rules are only the entry point into the game. I do think GW […]

That pose is good but I don’t really care about another Batman sculpt.

One of the best thing about the Old World was the detailed background. A lot of this, especially in the early days, was fleshed out in the Warhammer RPG. Has anyone heard anything about GW licensing out the new setting? Would this even make for an interesting roleplaying game?

There’s no information about a European distributor on the website, are you sure about that? I think a big tax bill in the EU will be unavoidable with Kingdom Death unfortunately, the main reason I didn’t pick it up at Black Friday and will probably have to miss it again now… But if you’ve got […]

Hmm that looks to me like the Batman on PS4 and XBox One.
I’m glad they didn’t sculpt the PC version..P.S. NSFW and / or spoilers if you watch more than a minute of that!

I’d suggest that its possible to have the best of both words by using your existing WFB minis with the KOW rules. That way you get to use the high detail GW minis with the superior (and supported) mass battle KOW rules. I’ve seen people play KOW with homemade minis, its the rules system that […]

@number32 Your army looks very good. I’ve been wondering how to go about a Dark Angels formation and I reckon a combined army is the best way to go. Although, I do like the character models that you can get for both the Deathwing and Ravenwing. Do you know if the Black Library has any other […]

Really starting to get excited to get my Black Friday pledge (I had never done a KS before WWX and Rivet Wars, so totally missed this). The models look fantastic and its gonna have a great deal of customisation for the troops. Ne thing I would say though, doesnt that lions face look totally out […]

Crits Kill People have got another awesome look at what’s coming for The Batman Miniatures Game by Knight Models . We’ve seen Harley Quinn and now it’s time to check out Mr Wayne himself, Batman, in his new armoured batsuit… He is pictured standing atop a gargoyle on a building in the middle of Gotham, quite an iconic and lasting […] -

I’m wondering what experiences people have had with plastic wargames tabletops. I mainly play 20mm or 1/72 but also play lots of 28-32mm sci-fi. I’m looking at ‘Hexon 2’ by Kalistra, the GW ‘realms of battle’ boards and ‘Tablescapes’ tiles by secret weapon; all seem to have their advantages and disadvantages. I’ve done plenty of […]
