Turn 8 will be on TONIGHT
(3rd March) at 8:00pm GMT!
But what is Turn 8... I hear you cry?
Well Turn 8was Warren's brainchild. A live show where we can feature the stuff that's really caught our attention, or where special guests can come to chat, answer questions and play a few games, in a relaxed atmosphere.
Our live painting party was a bit of a trial run for this and as you know "live show" means all sorts of potential problems... but that doesn't deter us... no way!
So if you have an hour or so to kill about 8:00pm tomorrow night you can join the BoW Team and our special guest Jake Thornton, creator of the brand new Dwarf Kings Hold boardgame from Mantic Games.
We'll be chatting, having a beer and playing a game of DKH!
So, join us if you can and comment on the show. There will be more info posted tomorrow about what you need to do to join in with the show.

Jake Thornton is a legend. Not only was he editor of White Dwarf magazine when it was at its best but also he wrote the previous Orc and Goblin armies book which was really good – it had a great tactics article at the back which is still really useful.
omg he goes to the same gaming club as me and I always talk to him but I never knew any of that lol

it only played for half a minute at the start and then was bank until now.
loved the show guys… and cant think about enough cool things to say about mantic, what a breath of fresh air. ronnie really has players in mind with the way the company is heading and jake seems to have conjured up a winner in this game. i love how you can see and get a feel for the passion that these guys have putting back fun into a game …amazing stuff… thanx again…….
oh and to true about the heroquest rulebook took me about 3 years to open mine up too laughed like hell …….. old skool kid cant beat it .. well done team..

Great show guys! Wasn’t able to catch the live broadcast since 8pm GMT is six in the morning here in Queensland.
That being said, I would love to see more of these, I’ll just have to settle for watching the recordings (then again; might try to catch it live if the show’s about something I’m wanting to ask questions about).
Is there going to be a VOD of this, or is it just the live stream?
Excellent show guys. Hope it becomes a semi-regular feature, its a great format and makes for very entertaining viewing. There were some audio issues but these seemed to resolves after the first 10 minutes or so apart from that everything was superb
awesome show guys, look forward to a 40k themed one, assuming this will become a series!! Which it should, thoroughly enjoyable…. we need more 🙂

Thank you very much for a good show. It´s nice to hear a designer´s thought on his game. But I think you should do comparisons to other dungeon crawlers, like Heroquest and Descent.
I enjoyed it a great deal. More of a mans show vs a boys. I like the beer drinking during the show. Heck, it made me go and get a couple of cold ones for myself. Keep it up, I’m looking forward to the next. Make sure you post the time and date.

Weren’t this show on Youtube? I had planned on seeing it there (missed it when it was live) but now it seems to have been taken down…?
When we tried to upload the show to YouTube, there were terrible technical difficulties. So we had to take it down.
I wouldn’t count on our live shows being reported to YouTube, just in case we have more problems.
