There was even an instance of a big gribbly monster charging through a field while a cow watched on gormlessly...

This scenario sounds like an awful lot of fun. As I go through the update reports things keep spiralling out of control. Quite funny to hear that most players decide to pounce on the Martians first before resolving there earlier disputes.

Well, they’re asking how this live video battle reporting format went, I thought it was aces. Nice and short, and dividing a big battle into sectors allowed us to follow along with little bite-sized reports yet keep a feel for what was happening.

The next logical step is leading the Reconquest of Mars with a Mars Attacks/Dropzone Commander mashup. Consider the scale difference, the robot is the size of a kaiju and the whole squads of 50 foot tall martians marching down the streets.
Light dropships could fly around like snowspeeders wrapping power lines around the robot’s legs .
How would this lunacy even occur to me? Simple really. I don’t have Bolt Action but I do have DzC!! 🙂

Well, I’ve got to say I quite liked the video battle reports. You didn’t have to split them up for each table. One 5-10 minutes video for each round would be ok too. Other than that, awesome work!

Looks like it took all your energy to keep the Martians fighting. It goes to show that the external threat could be the thing to unite Humanity.
But let’s be honest, they probably all started shooting each other again after the Martians flew off to Uranus!
This was great, though i would have liked a top down view of the table at some point to get a better understanding of whee everything was relative to everything else. Still awesome battle report, and a glorious victory for mankind!

Great job to the team has been an entertaining weekend watching the video’s. Glad to see that axis and allies managed to put aside some of their differences for the sake of the whole world and I imagine whats left of the Martian Force are now heading home. After all being on Mars for a day helps you work, rest and play 🙂

Great weekend, Excellent boot camp, Hell of a way to top it all of! Bolt Action is a great game. I love to see companies that are willing to work together. Warlord has a great track record in this area and Mantic is pretty good as well. Your players were great sports. Alessio was an outstanding guest. The uniforms were a very nice touch. The BoW crew was truly touched 🙂 I know you haven’t been doing the boot camps long but, you may have set a bench mark with this one.
