Carlos and Killian have been going round helping folks with their games. They've also dropped in on some cool moments.
Some big close combats, deadly shots as people dart around cover and plenty of times where a trooper wishes they'd stayed in cover.
One pair of troopers even berserked into each other and ended up killing each other in a Samurai fueled rage. It was quite the sight.

Got woken up by the kids at 6 this morning so after finishing yesterday’s videos I’ve been sitting waiting patiently for more to appear, didn’t spot that there was a whole post for Saturday which makes me feel foolish. Anyway, looking good I may have to consider trying to get a pass from the wife for one of these bootcamp things.
Too bad I’m all the way in the Netherlands but I would LOVE to attend one of these one day. Especially another Infinity one.

Something like “Infinity Tactics” where you explain how to develop and react to certain strategies.
Something like wall kissing or how to use to camos to avoid reactions
how to use and counter tags
Some squad building and what is advisable to bring in wich mission (core rulebook and its) and WHY
instead of a batle report i’d like to see a number of episodes pointing out common situations and explaining several ways to deal with showing pro and cons of each strategy (some are more reliable and some are bold it’s up to us which one to pick)
Yes it seems every game is getting their own series on BoW so why not Infinity?

So, those Micro-art Studios mats are great… but “something small from Poland” may not be the best tag line ever.. lol… really impressed by the TAG arena and those LED light are right up there with your plastic shelf end/planters and home-made cactus as some awesome ideas!
Is there or will there be a tutorial on making cactusses… cacti… uhm those plants with needles?

I wish there would be a boot camp over here…
Maybe there should be a BoW Mainland Europe division and a Bow Asia Division and a BoW Canada Division and a BoW Australia Division since we already have a BoW America Division.
And all these divisions could run bootcamps in their area and we would just have to clone Carlos so he could attend all these bootcamps simultaneously.

Seeing how immensely popular Infinity has become finding a group might be easier than you think.

Are you always allowed to bring your own painted minis to boot camps?
I think yes but your only allowed to play with the models you get through the bootcamp I believe.
Does anyone know why Haqqislam wasn’t a choice for the Boot Camp? Are they more challenging to learn, or was it simply they aren’t as popular left out to manage the choices better? I keep looking to get into Infinity, and I think Haqqislam would be my choice.
I can’t answer why Haqqislam was left out but I can assure you they aren’t more difficult to play than any other faction. They are actually quite a strong faction who gained a boost with the new rules so if you like their style I encourage you to give them a try.
Still need to paint my Haqqislam starter set.

With a smaller model count, you care more about each model, and at the same time, the results of any one game don’t sting as badly because there is an opportunity for reversal of fortunes in the next game.
The plus thing for me is that there aren’t many named models so you can create your own characters like: “Remember Yuri the Kazak who always falls of ladders?”
You guys have really taken off with the bootcamp concept – I love it – maybe one day I’ll get to go myself 🙂
Even though to us it looks like all fun and… games it’s probably a LOT of work for you guys. So thank you for doing this not only for the bootcampers but for us watching at home as well.

Question for those more experienced with infinity. Does the starter set provide a bit of replayability (or games at the points level of the starters generally) or is it really a case of learn the rules with them and then you need to expand forces straight away?
I think you can probably get a few games out of the starter boxes while learning the rules but I think you’ll soon want to expand and include more beautiful miniatures in your force. Some of the more advanced rules you won’t be able to learn with just the starter boxes like drop troops for example.
Thanks for the thoughts. I’ll have to find details out whether infinity gets played much round here and make a call. As long as I can get a few games out of the starter I can plan to add more within a month a so which works out.

the TAG arena was great fun, but really the rules are so much fun and so simply presented that it could easily be a deathmatch arena game for infantry as well as TAGs.

Using old videos to save on work, good going. The slow build up of rules seems like a good idea.
It’s the same way as learning Operation Icestorm: first three vs. three all line troopers and then slowly add more specialized troops.

TAG Deathmatch sounds like fun. Will try out the rules for sure. And also the last reason I needed for finally getting a TAG. ^^
TAGs are awesome. After seeing the TAG Arena vids I’m also sorely tempted in getting a few.

Why can’t I view the ‘Warren enters the fray” vid? It just take me to the Backstage info page. But there’s no Backstage logo in the screen grab.

I’ve been so inspired by the TAG deathmatch I think i’m finally going to get a TAG for my Ariadna, even if I can’t actually use it in regular games.
