If you’re honestly interested you should. It’s a fun game, there a lot to learn but it’s well worth the time investment. Most of the farmers I’ve met that play are cool, the models are amazing and the rules aren’t biased towards who got the newest book.
I do love the Ariadna Kazaks. Can’t wait for their sectorial!
I’ve been playing it since the very first Infinity week got me into it, but nevertheless, this is the bootcamp I really wish I could have attended. I hope everyone involved has an amazing weekend!

Those tables are looking great and I hope to see those forests teeming with Kazaks over the weekend! I will also be interested to get some feedback from the players who end up on the MAS tables – I’ve been debating getting one of those mats, but I’m not sure if they are too ‘busy’, or how they will look when they don’t have small buildings (like the MAS ones) occupying the building footprints.

I love the way Beasts Of War gives such in depth coverage to a wide range of games and genres. I knew nothing about Infinity until I found BOW, but everything I have seen has enticed me more and more. Will be watching this weekend closely.

I played infinity for the first time properly last night. It’s such a different style of game to so much out there. I love the complexity of it and the way you have to really think to make even a relatively simple movement. Because that model count is so low and those AROs can be so damaging, you get a real sense of tension throughout the game. Fantastic.

its an Infinity starter box. Comes with some neat stuff. Metal though …so if you don’t like metals…
Even with them being metal they are some of the best sculpts in the industry.
The quality of the sculpts is mostly the same with metals or resin, it’s the difference between working with them on the gamers part.
The bootcamps are a blast gutted I had to pass on this one

Infinity has always intrigued me, but it’s not easily available around here and I prefer to work with plastic minis. Of course if I won I’d be willing to make an exception.

Infinity has never really floated my boat but I’ve thoroughly enjoyed the other boot camps and expect the same for this one.

Infinity has always appealed great core mechanics but with oddles of special rules which give it far more depth than the standard skirmish game. Would love to play it and the two player starter set would enable me to twist someones arm to give it a go.
I wish I had the time off work to go to this.

That spaceship on the first woodland table they show…is that a GI Joe Sigma 6 Dragonhawk toy? I’ve had my eye on that for a dropship and it looks great. The inflatable assault boats look great too I’d love to know what toys they are.

I saw the cast where you said that the bootcamps would be reduced to ensure that you don’t change the direction and ethos of the website.
I think the bootcamps create a ton of hobbying and preparatory content, encourage a lot of buy-in and intrigue into the chosen game, but I understand and agree with your decision.
Do you think you’ll consider franchising out the idea? To keep them going but reduce the hours of input?
Would have dearly loved to get to this Boot camp. Loving the content so far!

just getting into infinity, must say I am having a lot of fun with it
The challenge with games like this is getting other people to play against but from what I’ve seen its superb. The model count being relatively low and the way it plays makes it something that makes a great game to have as a second game a bit like guildball.

I love Carlos enthusiasm for the factions and the game in general. The infinity universe has always appealed to me from an aesthetic perspective but listening to him talk about the different factions has me intrigued re their back stories. Enjoy the games.

It is only through Beasts of War that I have learned about Infinity, which is the only skirmish game I am currently interested in playing outside of Warmachine and Hordes. These boot camps look like tremendous fun and it is great that you share so much content with those who cannot make it.
