Did Lloyd even know what he had is his room? He was so surprised with a lot of things he found in those boxes.
Was anyone else waiting for the Blair Witch to turn up during Lloyds rummaging?
Thanks a bunch guys. That was way more than I thought I’d get. Thought I might get a few photos, not full guided tours. Very interesting stuff. Now if you could just give me your addresses and let me know when you’re not going to be home 😉 Huge apologies to Lloyd who looked like he nearly died twice tripping over his own stuff. I fear you made so much mess that you’ll need to spend 1-2 hours putting it all back, and might avoid even starting for a few weeks. On that front, my apologies also to Mrs Lloyd who’ll have to live with that mess too.
If you were to do something like that again I’ve long had an idea that could be good. Assuming Gerry’s attic / hobby dragon hoard is as endless and ancient as he describes, I think it could be fun to have the team descend on his place one day and sort through and catalogue it, a bit like hobby archeologists. Maybe a cross between Time Team and Antiques Roadshow, but 100% nerd hobby.
A “where are they now” (Or maybe “We didn’t burn him!”) segment at the end for ex cast members might have been nice. You did name drop a couple of them, but can we really be sure they’re not under Lloyds new hobby shed? Was OTT kept afloat with life insurance policies before Wayland got involved? We just don’t know.

I had an uncontrolled adverse reaction when I saw Lloyd toss a box of models on top of a rulebook that wasn’t laying flat and then tossed more stuff on top followed by closing the lid to the tub!
Very frightening……..
All in all, I throughly enjoyed this video visit with the boys of OTT.

Really fun episode. It was pretty cool to hear everyone’s origin story and to peak behind the curtains of your hobby.
Unfortunately Lloyd, Dust did die. There’s still old stock available mostly from Ammo Drop. And the community is still quite active. CMON did get a license to produce some minis but they’re for use in a Zombicide game. But I love Dust, kept all my stuff and would gladly play anytime.
Wrath of Kings was an interesting one. Very unique aesthetic and I heard some interesting things about the mechanics. There’s still some stock floating around.
I’ve heard a lot about Battle Fleet Gothic and even see a few players at my FLGS. That one I’d be seriously tempted by.
if you like titans from 3rd ed Epic 40K the combat for BFG was that, it was essentially titan fights in space. Do not let anyone play Eldar, Necrons, or Nids and you have a decent game. Not the best ship-to-ship out there but easy to play.
Looking forward to watching this tonight. I’m fancying a long painting session alongside, accompanied by leftover Christmas treats and booze. Sounds like the perfect antidote to a grey, soggy first Monday back at work!

Mostly I enjoyed the parts where everyone showed what was behind them. I think this should be a thing. How about a place where people can show off what’s behind their space!
I certainly have a boat-load of rare things I could show…
Just watched it all….great show , i think Lloyd’s room needs a visit from the 60 minute makeover team…..or he needs a cold shower after getting stuck in to all them box’s.
Do miss DUST, big walkers with laser blowing up @lloyd‘s tanks or swarming his troops with zombies 🙂
I hope you’ve trade marked Sweaty Belly Squash as it could be as big as Kabaddi was in the late 90s once you set up the tournament and gambling scene. Could also be a miniature game, card game and dice game. Even if it becomes none of that it could be a line of OTT merchandise with fake names and tournaments the wearer pretends they were at along with an action shot image.
Nice peak behind the curtains, would be good to have this run next year, what is on the left side of Gerry and infront as on the left he gets books, infront he seems to often pull minis.
Maybe have it split down 1 or 2 hours and maybe more spread of postings to feed the BoW CoGs and OTTERs withdrawal.
Also and they get mentioned a few times, what did Sam, Cass and Lance move onto, could we get former OTTERs crew to give the same sort of answers about who has the best noxious omissions and how they joined and there gaming history.
