We're joined with Rob who claims that the Matsudo Tectonic team are his favourite, they may be a little slower than usual however with their range of throw power and dedication to zero fouls in play, they're one to look out for on the tabletop.

Lizard Samurai! What’s not to love!
This team is really nice, I actually like the scultps and the posibilities of colouring them.
I like the idea that they are slow but reliable. And because I’m not a fan of fouls, this might be a nice one if I start playing the game.
what are they on the Richter scale?
I’d just name them Dream Team, that’s good enough
No doubt I’d have to play Samurai Lizards.
sumo lizards sound great, not as great as twisting snails but still… ;p
Love how the current teams break out of the tolkienesque/warhammer tropes.
I’d call them the Heavy Beauties
love the look of this team. the green skin and the gold armor looks sweet
Super awesome video, looking forward to getting into dreadball 2nd edition, then inspire some friends to get into dreadball and make a league 🙂
I hope this takes off, Mantic has some bad blood around my neck of the woods
These would be The Honorable Munchies
With every video i am becoming more and more intrested in Dreadball,
No Strikers ……… Crazy talk !!
I imagine their player numbers being tattooed or painted on their bellies.
Sound like a great team to play, not a big fan of the studio paint job though
I lost 8-0 (head count) to these guys twice!
Select from the 30 teams, two without captains.
Didn’t think I’d like these but the chat has convinced me. If I were to own these it would be the Saurian Sumo Banzai Warriors!
Love these guys. And love the idea of a slow moving but highly skilled team. Something you don’t get much of in other fantasy football games.
Interesting tactics for these guys … some very different paint schemes would also make them pop out .. 🙂
Seeing that guard with the spread arms and hearing “chubby chasers”…
As a perennial fan of the fat-lad-doing-sport I should drive to Bulwell and grab from of these first thing tomorrow.
Not going to be my choice if I get back into Dreadball, though look like a nice team
Team name: The Extra Weight
I’m thinking of going with the team name “Hachiman Kiniiri” and Miami Dolphins colors orange and aqua marine. Thoughts?
The Aqua Marines are probably a good team name for the sphyr. Although it would be more fitting in Deadzone 🙂
Looks like another great faction to paint up.
Team name: Fat Chaps
Team idea: the Bellywheelers
Fun looking team.
These Sumo Samuri sound interesting
Ok, having watched this and the game featuring them, i foresee these becoming a third team alongside my Forgefathers and future Revenant team.
Heavy weights lol
Looks to be a good team to pick up.
These look to be a strong team with 3’s for slamming and for skill.
Yeah, they are a little slower, and have no strikers…. But with sprints, the ability to not be knocked down in a slam and that good skill check I think it makes up for it.
More expensive, so that will balance it out I guess
Sumo-lizards look good.
I did enjoy that! Thanks! By the way….is QVC Justin wearing lipstick?
Ummm, these guys didn’t draw me to the Season 2 KS. After this video maybe we’d have to give them a go.
I really like the look and feel of this team. I usually play teams that are faster on their feet, but I just have to give the Matsudo a try
How can you not love these guys?
Those models really seem to show off how soft the detail is on mantics minis.
Sumo Tank Sized Lizard`s, i may of just found my team.
Team name would have to be…………….ローリング・サンダー Rōringu sandā, in English it means “Rolling Thunder”.
I googled English to Japanese translator, glad i did as i can now do the same when naming the players. As for a paint scheme, i`ll have to think about it. I could do bright or lean towards dark or somewhere inbetween, but for now that can wait.
Displacing the opponent sounds like a powerful move.
As far as team selection goes; play what you like the look/sound of and switch it up sometimes. At the very least it will help you understand different play styles.
Love anything Japanese themed. The captain model is mega.
I’d call them the Big Smileys
They are similar to teratons, but they can displace their opponents. It could be fun to have a teraton / matsudan combo team. Probably through the Revenants 🙂
I still think I will be sticking with the Ninth Moon Tree Sharks. While they might be fun, I still prefer the speed and agility.
These look really fun to play. Who doesn’t like a hitty team?
My name for the team: The Heavy Weight Chumps
For a league I’d call mine the Eastern Fatties
My team would be the Richter Waves
These are Brontosauri, in every sense of the word 🙂
The team looks good, my team would be The Eaters
These are my favorite of the new teams so far. BUT I love my Veer Myn squad as well as the Sphyr and Koris teams those are my go to’s but I’d be willing to give these guys a try too they look really cool to play
This video is a cool overview of the Matsudan team! I’ve linked your review in our article about the set: https://alkony.enerla.net/english/the-nexus/board-games-nexus/board-game/matsudo-tectonics-matsudan-team-set-for-dreadball-ed2-from-mantic-games-2018-board-game-expansion-miniature-set-review
