Club of the Year 2014 Entries Here!
Welcome to The Weekender! This time around we've got an exclusive look at an awesome new painting book from Angel Giraldez and we'll be chatting about the brilliant Metropole Vehicle Boxed Set from Antenocitis Workshop designed for Infinity!
As well as that we'll be talking about our upcoming Gaming Awards & Survey along with an update on the Game Designer Challenge and how that's going so far!
Also, laser cutting, pretty awesome right now isn't it! Check out the awesome Transport Trays shown off by our friend Killian!
Download Killian's free Transport Trays Plans and try laser cutting for your self.
The files are in two formats, SVG which can be opened in any vector drawing program for editing and PDF which is easy to open for viewing and is a standard format that can be read by the laser cutters used in FabLab's.
What are you playing this weekend?

more airbrush content would be great hey
It would be! I can’t get enough of vids showing airbrushing, in fact I seem to spend more time watching people airbrush than actually trying out the techniques 😀
Wow just wow. Some of the stuff that Angel puts out…..
Love Infinity, love its terrain
I have a police car from Antenocitis Workshop and it is excellent
love that mini
I have some of the workshop stuff thru the deadzone ks. Verry nice.
Can I have a 99 with a flake please.
Great piece on laser cutters.
I can’t wait for Third Edition.
That new terrain from Antenocitis looks really good 🙂
Nice terrain! I´m really lloking forward to your 3. edition weeks!
I have lots of the anteocitis stuff, I love it. I use there stuff for infinity or deadzone.
Probably the greatest Weekender ever!
It doesn’t hurt that I’ve recently been looking at Infinity and all of the “older” coverage that you guys did – I think that I’ve finally found the game that I’ve been looking for.
Definitely going to look at getting hold of Angel’s book, his work is so good that it makes me want to weep at my useless, clumsy painting skills… he must be the Michaelangelo of miniature painting. Or possibly the Raphael… or maybe Donatello…
Any chance of seeing Justin and John doing any stuff for the N3 week? They were brilliant in their Unboxing videos – it’s like the Two Stooges!
Another get show! I love when you guys talk about infinity and I can’t wait for N3 week, I’m looking forward to that week
I would love to paint as fast as Giraldez, it doesn’t has to be as good as him.
I have to paint a big bunch of miniatures and terrain for the spiel in Essen this munch.
Maybe a inspirational boost might help me?
By the way: go check laughing jack games during the spiel.
Infinity!!!! Come on N3!
FabEpisode…
…shame you didn’t ask Carlos when those of us who pre-ordered Op:Ice back in July via a distributor are going to get it?
Looking forward to more N3 spoilers.
Cant wait to get this A-Z painting book. :)
The stuff that Angel makes is just stunning!
Awesome terrain, and nice idea to use university’s cutters.
Have I mentioned that I was at Angel’s painting faces seminar at GenCon? What’s that? Lots and lots of times? Well I’m going to mention it again lol. I was also in the seminar where he announced the book and will certainly be picking up a copy.
Whilst on the topic of painting guides, another of the industry’s great painters, Jérémie Bonamant Teboul, has an indiegogo campaign currently running for his own book. The indiegogo page is in French at the top but if you scroll down you’ll get to an English translation – https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/figopedia?english%3Futm_source=figone
Is there a release date on the Antenocitis buildings?
good feature on the laser cut stuff very interesting need to look for a fablab now
This time, I’ll be the winner
Sun Tze is a great mini!
And give us more N3! 🙂
I have yet to play Infinity, but those models make me want to.
I have never wanted to win a comp more in my entire life. Angels painting is amazing. Definitely picking up his book and the 3rd edition rules as soon as they drop.
I could have used the airbrush content a few years ago, had to figure it all out by trial and error
Just started playing Infinity thanks to my Operation:Icestorm box. Found the Studio Giraldez facebook page a couple of days ago and I’ll definately be grabbing the book
Great stuff from Antenocities and can’t wait for Infinity N3!
yes!
Will be getting that book and shout out for Killian, one of the most friendly, talented and generous people I have come across on the Infinity forums. If you are into Infinity and have a fab lab or access to a laser cutter you definitely need to check out his post in the scenery section of the Infinity forums, it’s fantastic!
Thanks very much crispypete. For those interested in trying out other designs you can find them available to download in the Arcologies section of the Infinity forums.
http://infinitytheforums.com/forum/index.php?/topic/14184-free-laser-cut-cube-terain-plans-extras-street-tile-plans-page-14/
Very cool terrain pieces, more stuff on my “want list”
What a stunning miniature !
Giraldez ftw, needs his own mini!
Very cool Video! I am a bit worried about the 5K copies of the artbook though. I hope I can get one… Also nice prize! xD
Can’t wait for the A-Z masterclass book!!! 🙂
Autodesk has made a suite of free 3d software applications. 123d design is the engineering/CAD application, but there is one for organic modeling also. They are fully functional and export to STL for 3d printing.
http://www.123dapp.com/design
So looking forward to Infinity 3!
And Yes, I would love to see downloadable MDF terrain files. Have a Fab-lab nearby 🙂
They put the icecream van near the television. lol
I think I have a place on my shelf for that mini.
Lovin Infinity… Still…
Bring on the goodies!
Very much looking forward to N3. Very much looking forward to the painting book. I worry that 5,000 copies might sell out at the pre-order stage. There seems to be a perfect storm brewing for Infinity to explode in popularity with N3.
Recently starting Infinity with a JSA army, loving every moment I spend learning the game. Really interested to purchase the Angel Giraldez Masterclass book, but I’m not sure I can follow his style and directions.. 🙁
love the vehicles coming out for infinity
I wonder what the price will be for the Antenocities terrain? Not that it will matter, I´ll buy it anyway 🙂
I had to cancel my pre order of Infinity due to financial issues. This would make me a very happy panda 🙂
Great show. Great prize
I want it solo badly 😉
Not a big fan of the vehicles myself – I don’t think they fit in with most of the Sci-Fi Miniatures/games that are available (they look great for Judge Dredd or Captain Scarlet) but I do like the Antenocitis ‘Hunchback APC’ (would have liked it a little larger, but looks great)
Awesome stuff, as always. The sneaky gits. ^^ The preview of the limited bountyhunter in powerarmour is neat and makes me want to have him.
Great show! Really interesting hearing about the laser cutting. Something I am going to have to look into.
So much good stuff in this one, great video guys.
I love that antenocitis terrain.
Antenocitis makes really nice terrains !
That terrain is fantastic!
I have no idea what to say, but would like to win 🙂
Sun tzu will be a great chance to start a Yu-Jing army 🙂
Fantastic report. Keep going guys!
Would love to give Sun Tzu a try in N3 if that extra command token turns out to be very important. Good thing LoL won’t be as brutal as well either.
Can’t wait for Infinity Week! Angel’s book will be amazing.
Beautiful miniature, as anything that comes from Angel’s studio. That art book is a must have at least for me.
Cool episode guys. Great terrain, looking forward to N3!
I think I’d be to scared to use a mini painted by Angel in a game in case it got damaged
Giraldez is the most amazing painter I saw. Bow
Title for the Zombies Movie: Four Funerals and a Zombie Apocalypse
Caption: There’s always time for a ninety-nine Justin, even during the Apocalypse. I said ninety-nine…no, ninety-nine
Must have that book 🙂
Would drilling through the hdf and then finishing each hole with the laser be better?
That would slow cutting even more the laser only cut’s the shape of the holes just like a window for instance the time is the number of holes / shapes e.g. walls that is on a given pattern.
Excellent show, but please can you show some poorly painted miniatures so I don’t feel so bad at my attempts!
Can’t say enough about this episode. N3 reveal, gorgeous prize, great information on laser cutting, etc. Too bad it doesn’t look like we have access to anything like the Fab Labs here in our community.
Great piece on laser cutters, will the terrain/tiles etc be for sale in any capacity – as completed pieces, downloadable plan etc?
Also Sun Tze model looked really awesome!
Great show, and an awesome prize.
It’s so f**ing great!
Really great episode so much cool stuff. If I had that Sun Tzu figure I would be to scared to use him in my games! What if I wrecked the paint job. Also I want to get those cool looking camo markers. Can we buy them?
I wish I could paint with just a fraction of his skill
I want in… Can’t seem to get enough of infinity… xD
Can’t wait for 3rd edition week. This year has been incredible for Infinity from Icestorm on through N3 it just keeps coming.
Airbrush tutorial by Angel PLEASE!
Absolutely top episode guys! Really interesting stuff:D
So looking forward to the new Infinity week.
Airbrush tutorials? Yes please.
Would love to own an original Angel mini but would never play with him as he’d make the rest of my Yu Jing look like a pile of old pants.
Wonderful show as always guys.
Here are some books that may be of interest to everyone about airbrushing.
http://www.ospreypublishing.com/text_search.aspx?TextSearch=spray%20painting&Group=Book
Yeah, I’ll be grabbing that book!
That Antonecitis terrain looks awesome. I like the idea of the fablab print your own, except that I’m a turnip when it comes to actually designing something…
Just checked my local fablab – they charge $1 per minute. Stuff that, I’ll buy the pre-made stuff…
love to see some more airbrush tutorials, especially maintenance on them
I really want to get my hands on that book. And yes airbrush is a great complement to brush for miniatures. Been using airbrush for almost a year and the things you can do with it is amazing.
That antenocitis terrain is on the Shut up and take my money level.
I’m gonna have to order me some taxis
Just wondering but isn’t the cutter a remote presence tag? and therefore wouldn’t have someone inside it ? Looks great ..just sayin. That terrain is awesome though..agree with Killian because say you had a mini in the building and the enemy was approaching from both ends you could escape up out the air vent onto the roof and then wait to shoot them when they left again via the door !
need to add a new section to the your survey (best guest host) carlos . as always love the show.
That feature on Killian’s laser cut stuff was really really interesting!
Great times ahead for Infinity! Bring on N3 week!
Normally I only comment in one place but this prize is too great! I love Infinity! (and actually play Yu-Ying)
Still waiting on my copy of Icestorm here in the states, can not wait for N3. Angel is an amazing artist, and has inspired me to start airbrushing.
Stunning Scenery, you should buy Lloyd a Laser Cutter for Christmas
I would sacrifice some virgins to the Lords of Hell to win this price… nice teasers for IN3 🙂
my love of infinity just goes on forever
A great look at laser cutting! I would be interested in seeing BOW put more projects online for download. Those skips looked good and you could break up the waste wood to have something to put in the skips
Sun Tze, give him to me! See what I did there? :p great show as always. My Saturday would not be complete!
Good beloved game receives third edition.
I’m happy with it.
P.S. And I want Angelo to paint Sun Tze for me %)))
I got Antenocitis bases for tunguska and they are really great i have to say!
Can’t wait for another Infinity Week! I think the laser cut terrain is great! The tiles look amazing! We have made some of these buildings locally and they are really playable.
Can’t wait to see whats up with 3rd ed.
thanks for a great Saturday morning.
So when can we pre-order the new rules?
I don’t believe i have a fablab close to me however I know that in my area (US, east coast) there are laser cutting companies that will cut things for you if you have the plans. I would love to see some plans for laser cut terrain here on beasts of war!!!
Beautiful work! Love the mini and can’t wait to get the book!
Well whoever wins will have a Real “Angel” on the battlefield!
Just looked for Fab Labs in England. Seems there’s a complete dirth in the Midlands. Got a few in London, Wales and the North though.
FAntastic show.
No FabLab near me 🙁
A brilliant idea though, and an excellent episode.
I really hope I can set aside the cash to pre-order the master class book. That looks to be an incredible addition for any library.
Good, interesting episode!
I love that terrain, I cant wait until infinity week
That Fablab info is so great to know. Im going to look into it now. Thanks so much.
Cool stuff!
Great show guys. Loved the run through of laser stuff – its not something ive seen before and will now check out the Fab Labs. I am pretty excited for both 3rd edition infinity and Angel’s book. As I play Yu Jing in infinity, I so want to win that Sun Tze figure!
I would love to be able to create some terrain projects on my pc :<
Really like the laser cutting discussion….looking for a FabLab is my number one priority today. How geeking awesome!
Great episode. Gave me a lot to think about re terrain
Corvus Belli has become my favorite miniatures company. Absolutely gorgeous miniatures and a tight, unique, satisfying rules system that only looks to be getting better with Third Edition. The respect and good humor they show to the gaming community honestly took me by surprise after years of watching GW treat us like walking wallets. Complete rules set? Here, have them for free. An army builder? Here, have it for free. Communicate with your players? Of course. Support the tournament scene? You bet.
They deserve all the success they’re getting.
I would love to see more airbrush videos, I’m terrible with mine.
Great video guys, looking forward to more airbrush content as well as upcoming info on Angel’s book and N3!
I would love to win a model painted by Angel.
Yup, yup and more yup! Without a doubt thee best 28mm skirmish game out there bar none! color sold on the pre-order!
I really don’t need an airbrush too.
Or do I? oof
The new theme music just rocked my balls clean off!
I’ve been a fan of AT workshop for some time, but this just puts icing on an already full cake – really like the look of that stuff!
I cannot wait for N3! Carlos and the crew appear to have really pushed the boundaries of the game from art direction to game mechanics. I am just really excited for infinity week!
Breakfast at noon with some tea, pizza, and Beasts of War!
I’m lucky enough to have a friend working in R&D for dental care. He has access to to a laser cutter and he told me many times that he’d like to help me build my gaming table. Dudes! I’d even pay for plans so I could spend time working with that friend of mine with that laser!
Now I’ll have to go check and see if there’s a local fab-lab to try some of my 3D designs out.
Well done Angel for putting together a book that is straight from your heart with no compromises. Your painting is stunning and the Infinity models look great once you have worked your magic.
I doubt it’s the first time I’ve gushed over Antenoceti’s stuff, as it were.
That trailer at the start for Infinity v3 was SUCH a tease.
Definatley have to have a go at designing my own laser cut terrain 🙂
Those painting skills are just unreal!
Another excellent show.would love to win the mini.
As Warren said the new scenery looks very Space 1999.
Looking toward to XLBS
I love the ice-cream zombie apocalypse illustration. He’s got you guys and I will be attempting the XLBS caption, can hardly wait!
Killian’s piece on laser cut design was fascinating. Amazing stuff! Really enjoyed it.
I will pre-order his book as soon as it’s available. His work is outstanding. Even better than what you see in pictures as the camera doesn’t do it justice
I just got my Operation Icestorm Gen Edition, looking forward to getting more in to Infinity.
The problem with Angel is that he is so good he makes everything else look like poop. He is so far a head that he’s not even someone to aspire too.
That building is beautiful but unfortunately I’ve had issue with shipping Antenocitis Workshop to Canada.
Still it looks so good!
Infinity is still on the list. I am really liking the looks of the new stuff.
Love the antenocitis workshop scenery that workstation looked like the mobile base in AVATAR.
We found this blueprints on web, but I did’t have idea who create it. Thank You Killian! Thanks to Your work We did start what We doing, everything what We know now was learned from thats prints. After one year of non commercial project Wargaming Łódź now We are able to make tournament for 50 Infinity players. I will gladly share Our prints if You wants to make a community, the best will be exchange for another one, just to give us diversity on tables.
https://www.facebook.com/pages/Wargaming/746208902061606?sk=photos_stream
WOW I am so impressed what you guys have done with my original plans and how much stuff you’ve managed to produce. I’m really impressed with the helipad and billboard designs you made as addons as well as how well its all painted.
I’m going to make a bigger effort to finish the Mark 2 designs of the “Russian Doll” buildings now which I’ve changed to create more storage space and fix some structural problems in the original designs.
If you’d like to contribute designs to the thread where I posted my originals you can find them on the Infinity forums here
http://infinitytheforums.com/forum/index.php?/topic/14184-free-laser-cut-cube-terain-plans-extras-street-tile-plans-page-14/
I wish the pre-orders would go up for Angel’s book already. I’d sleep easier knowing I’d secured one!
Amazing work on Sun Tze, now i know the name of this great artist! Shame on me that i did not have noticed him before!
I can’t wait till 3rd edition drops.
Lovin the fablab stuff Killian and great to see ya back on the show again.
Bring on N3 week, really lookin forward to it
Angel’s book look super interesting!
awesome to hear about the great response of the game desing, i would love to hear your feedback on mine.
Can’t wait for N3!!! The suspense is killing me!
great prize and it’s even my faction result
Welp, time to set aside some money for the painting book ._.
Oh damn, Sun Tze! We’re getting started up down here and I can’t wait to bring all that in for 3rd Edition!
Can’t wait for Angels book, I will be purchasing it. I Love all Infinity scenery and love that their is so much choice. Would I like to win, why yes I would.
I woul love to have an miniature painted by Angel giraldez
That’s all pretty cool sounding
Hi Gang. Really good episode, always a pleasure to see and hear from Carlos. Looking forward to all the new Infinity stuff coming down the pipe. Would love to win the painted Sun Tze, Angels work is amazing. Lastly, if you aren’t a Back Stager, why not? Been a BSer over a year now and have never regretted it. While there is stuff of no interest to me, what I do have interest in makes it one of the great bargains in gaming. Thanks gang for the great episode, I would buy those street tiles in a heartbeat! Very cool.
Bring on N3 and Angel’s book! I’m hoping to get into airbrushing soon and this would be a great place to start!
Can’t wait to get the new Combined starter coming out in December, perfect way to start up N3.
Wow that laser cut terrain for the roads looked great! I also can’t wait till I can preorder that painting book, but with only 5000 being made I can see that selling out very fast.
Can’t wait for the Infinity week! Got our first miniatures for infinity this weekend 🙂
thx CB we will open our OI on tuesday, since the person who placed the order is on vacation.
Good the other stuff was send to me so the rest of us could start this weekend. 🙂
Keep on with the great work BoW and CB!!
god i wish i had even one micron of the Angel guy’s skill. and have to say seeing the terrain i am thinking of looking in to infinity. getting tired of GW’s rubbish.
Good Episode as usual guys, would love airbrush vids as I’m just getting into using it on mini’s and could always use the help.oh and …..pick me pick me >;P
Defo gona have to pick up an air brush and can’t wait for Angel’s book to come out. Very interested in that laser cut HDF as well! Exciting times. 🙂
N3, can’t wait!
Killian’s contribution today has been the most enlightening thing I’ve seen in the hobby for a while. Until today I had no idea you could get access to these cutting machines.
Hopefully there were a few bright young things watching this, who have the skill set to be able to do the same. I’m sure Warren is right the next year or so we are going to see an explosion of good terrain pieces
Sweet episode. I love listening while painting on the weekends.
I can’t wait to get my hands on Angel’s book.
Haven’t been able to make the dive into Infinity yet, but I might just have to in the coming weeks…I’m also very glad Warren’s giraffe mug keeps making appearances!
great show! can’t wait for my O:I box!
Honestly this was one of the best episodes to date. The laser cut thing was super inspiring and got me dreaming.
And im really looking forward to infinity week, im starting to get very interested in the game as it seem so good everytime I see glimpses of it. Keep it up!!!!!
Maybe I missed it, but is Angel’s book in Spanish or English? If it is printed in English, where might one go to preorder for delivery to the states?
A friend of mine has been experimenting with laser cutting…He must watch this!!!!
Oh man, I man going to end up playing Infinity aren’t I
Please sirs… I play Yu Jing and would give this figure some love.
Great episode guys! Beautiful people indeed. Also, TRAAAAIIINNNNNSS!
I’d like to acquire one of the masterclass book copies. I don’t have the time it would take practice to paint this well, but I am fascinated by the techniques people develop.
I could do with some infinity prizes considering WG still havan’t sent my operation icestorm =(
Can I please win this one…Its far to good a giveaway!!!
The wait for the 3ed book is killing me! And the im really curios about the painting book, it will be the first painting book i ever by. 🙂
Can’t wait for Angel’s book next year.
Ok, so we all know we’re going to love N3. Now when is it finally coming out?
Love Your work guys!
You should invite Carlos more often!
No Fablabs near me 🙁
I hope to be in the first 5000 for the book of Angel
It was the miniatures that drew me when looking for better and different science fiction models for painting. Then I played Infinity and was drawn into this bottomless pit where I want more and more stuff! Much as I like Dystopian science fiction I really like the Infinity concept which – reminds me to some extent of Firefly/Serenity with it’s variety of worlds and technologies.
Is there any way that those mdf files by Killian could be made available especially the set he made that fits inside one another. Very nice stuff and very professional looking.
Keep up the good work, guys.
The thread where I posted my designs on the Infinity forums can be found here.
http://infinitytheforums.com/forum/index.php?/topic/14184-free-laser-cut-cube-terain-plans-extras-street-tile-plans-page-14/
I’m going to make an effort to finish the Mark 2 version of the buildings that fin inside one another and try and make some instructions as there are allot of parts involved.
sun tzu looks amazing.
Just started a yu jing army and that is a must have. Warren if u and your family wanna live in peace then you know what to do. 😉
I don’t normally go for life threats but I think that miniature warrants it this time. Lol
this is a great episode^^
Love to ear the N3 week is comming ^_______^ and finaly ,….
Finaly I have a face to thank , Killian I used some of your stuff from the international forum and I’m so happy tnx mate ^__^
Any chance to see Angels paintings up close is worth the price of admission. Amazing stuff!
cool terrain, great laer cutting, can’t wait for Angels book… just when is the release date and where can I get it…Thanks
Have to say I am really looking forward to the upcoming Infinity week.
So good, love the drawing of Warren and Justin.
I got flustered when the survey asked me if I wanted to be in the industry but it didn’t have an option for already being in the industry! Probably true of a lot of others here.
The thing that I loved this episode was Killian’s laser cut terrain. I would love to get a copy of the files used for all of that terrain that fits inside itself for storage. Are the designs available to buy?
Not available to buy but everything is available for download from the Infinity forums.
http://infinitytheforums.com/forum/index.php?/topic/14184-free-laser-cut-cube-terain-plans-extras-street-tile-plans-page-14/
I could only think about selling designs if I was happy they were in a final state and I owned my own laser cutter. Until then I’d rather make stuff available for free in the spirit of the open source FabLab movement.
Love Infinity minis and Angel is one the best painters out there. Can’t wait for 3rd addition.
Beautiful paint job. Gives me something to aspire to. Not seeing how I will ever get close to this, but I can dream.
Fantastic episode, loved the part about laser cutting. Eagerly awaiting the painting book by Mr. Giraldez!
Watching Angels airbrush works is allways worth the time.
Always been interested in a spray gun, but never really saw detail use (what I saw was generally used for base coating and camo patterns),
Would love to see some beginner material.
I’m really excited about the model even though I’d need to start another faction if I win. I got to see the models in the artbook at GenCon this year when I started the game and I’ve just been running on all cylinders with the game since I started. Great models, nice rules (getting a nice update as well), good support from the company with their website, and a fast, fun, cinematic game.
N3 can’t come soon enough here.
So much to look forward to…N3, Angel’s book and AW’s kickstarted!
Laser cut terrain looking great!
that sun sui is cool as hell
Laser cutting looks brill and very interesting I would love to have a go. The picture that was done for bad ass BOW boys was ace.
The book looks like it’s going to be awesome, but an airbrush is a pretty big investment.
I am soooo much looking forward to 3rd edition 🙂
Excellent show. Loved everything. Very interesting about the laser cut terain.
That Sun Tzu is just awesome! Need one! 🙂
The infinity set looks awesome wish I had that your lucky beasts of war your lucky
could you guys do some warhammer fantasy bat reps please for free??
Hi,
great show! Loved the piece about laser cutting and FabLabs. A quick google search revealed that there is actually one in my lovely home town of Bremen.
Had never heard of it before but am absolutely thrilled that we have something as cool as that so close by.
I love the Infinity miniatures, as they are absolutely gorgeous; but so far I did not quite get into the game itself despite a couple of demos I had. The rules always seemed too convoluted and often unecessary complicated to me. But I I’ll give it another shot when the 3rd edition comes out.
Best regards
Bartender
Wow.
Angel is far too talented. The converted TAGs are so awesome. Jealous
Can’t wait to see the rest of the line of Antenocitis and 3rd edition week!
Also open community on laser cutting sounds awesome.
Great show……really fantastic Antenoceti building….I remember seeing some early versions at Salute last year…..an interesting time for Infinity player. The fab lab idea is brilliant! I’ve been hunting for a decent roadway/ board system for 28mm (Infinity) and 10mm ( Dropzone) for ages now……I would print that one off in both scales given half a chance…..definitely be interested in anything like that…..cracking idea. On the subject of airbrushs…..I have a love hate relationship with mine…….excellent tool when you have a good session…..the biggest pain in the bum when you don’t! I ‘very had mine about two years….and I’m no we’re need mastering it!
Another excellent show.
awesome as always.
Even if I don’t win this I plan to buy this.
I REALLY like that Sun Tze.
Looking forward to get my hands on Operation Icestorm, if my shop can get it. Been thinking about Infinity for a while, but now seems like the right time to get started. Just wish I could paint the models as good as they deserve.
I want that mini! It’s great and Angel’s painting is simply awesome! Great terrain too, gonna have to check on those.
Keep up the great work guys and see you next week.
Great Episode
Angel is truly amazing and the speed he works at makes it doubly so!
some great stuff in this weekender. Killian’s terrain looks amazing
Can’t wait for 3rd edition. This preorder is as good as done. Damn you Corvus Belli! My bank account hates you sooooo much 😉
Sun Tze as a prize and 3rd edition preorder… These are awesome news!
Killian <3
Amazing as always. Love to see all the new stuff for Infinity.
Would love a copy of that book and since I play the faction Sun Tsu would be great but painted by Angel it would be off the scale
Love those cars from antenociti’s. Awesome stuff.
Great to look through Killian’s laser cutting exploits too.
Great show. Looking forward to the 3rd edition rulebook. Icestorm is great.
Well it’s Angels fault that I’m beginning to fool around with an airbrush…
Thanks BoW for introducing me to Infinity!
I really enjoyed the whole laser fabrication portion of the video and of course the new infinity stuff, I’m hoping to get into infinity if I find a community for it over here in Dallas, Texas.
Can’t wait for 3rd edition. Antenocitis kickstarter coming real soon as well. Awesome
Brilliant work with the laser-cut terrain, Killian. It’s fascinating to see the evolution of a set of designs into something massive and table-filling.
All I will do is stare at it and wish I could paint 🙂
Great video, Guys. Many thanks for supporting Infinity!
I just bought an airbrush, good timing for some tutorials!
These FabLabs sound amazing. The only one in this neck of the woods seems to be at the University of Toronto, which charges $10 for every half hour.
At that rate, those 80 minute street tiles would start getting a little cost-prohibitive though!
Another great show, always good to see Carlos and hear about Infinity.
The mini is sooo cool!
I can’t wait for the infinity week!
I wasn’t planning on buying the new rule book just so I’d have more money for minis. I think that plan is out now…
Must buy all the Infinity!
Awesome prize and I would love to see how he goes about doing this work.
The terrain segment is amazing, I think you have found a new presenter of a new show on how to do these wonderful projects.
Lets be honest, that’s a pretty amazing prize!
Agree, more airbrush coverage would be great. I’d love to see a multi-part series from AG on how he uses the tool to such good effect. Would also be really interested in a regularly updated airbrush buyers guide, or some type of review system.
人皆知我所以胜之形,而莫知吾所以制胜之形。All men can see the tactics whereby I conquer, but what none can see is the strategy out of which victory is evolved.
I don’t know if there’s a free FabLab around here, but there is a pay per use laser cutting cafe and coffee shop that I’ve been meaning to check out.
I can’t wait for 3rd Ed! And what a great prize to own something painted by Angel Giraldez! Best. Giveaway. Ever.
I wish I could paint that well.
I wish I could paint that well. I just don’t have the patience.
Great episode as usual, not enjoyed saturday cause was on a convention about historic wargames, so do it now.
A chance to win one of Angel’s pieces? I am SO in!
Winning!
Love all the laser cut scenery coming out I have a number of 4ground buildings for use in bolt action and they where a dream to build
Great episode folks, any links to fab lab locations? (my Google foo must be a bit off)
Good episode guys. I’ve loved Angel’s style since the first time I saw a photo of his work. Can’t wait for his book.
Angel’s work is always so mind blowingly awesome and Infinity is just going from strength to strength as far as sculpts and art style and design go I’m still waiting on my Op. Icestorm even though I pre-ordered it on the day it was announced apparently it was just that popular…but yeah can’t rate Infinity high enough roll on 3rd edition and congratulations Angel on what looks like an awesome first book!
Justin: “Warren, are you sure this is the best way to get to the front of the iPhone queue?”
Zombie: “phownz mutht hav phownz…”
Always great to ahve more Infinity vids!
I am loving all this Infinity coverage almost as much and Angel’s flawless work.
The piece on laser-cutting was fascinating. I didn’t expect the level of technical detail, which was pretty engrossing. And the deck designs are phenomenal. Thanks, Killian, for investing all that effort to show the art-of-the-possible and for sharing with the community.
I can’t wait for the next Infinity Week 🙂 Best game ever. What makes it special is great community, not only made of players, but many peaople making and selling terrains, accessories and other stuff, not only one company jelous of its every idea 🙂
I’d like to also request some videos of MDF buildings being painted for Infinity. That would be awesome!
Really informative introduction to how laser cutting works.
Looking forward to Angel’s book! I hoppe i’ll get a copy, 5000 seem not really many.
This is all awesome news, an Angel Giraldez book, I’ll be preordering that! And that terrain, wow!
And 3rd edition can’t wait!
And Yu Jing is my army, well JSA but that’s cool angel’s work is just awesome!
When I look back at my first ever paint job and compare it to my current work it looks like I was trying to paint with my feet. if I won that Sunzue it would make all my current stuff look the same way in comparison.
Didn’t knew Fablabs yet. Very interesting !
Can’t wait for that book! And that Sun Tzu!
Another great show guys from start to finish. So many new interesting things to see. The lasercutting feature was especially interesting to watch. I’m currently trying to get into a Fablab to create a redesign of some models I created by hand years ago.
I used an oldfashioned jigsaw and some plywood. The project took me weeks during a summer holiday.
Comment for the prize
Good show guys. Glad to hear you’ll do more game designer competitions – I enjoyed entering.
My advice / plea is to make it a bit clearer how much you’re after. e.g. Just a few sentence overview? Would you like a detailed breakdown on an attached word doc.?
Looking forward to seeing more from the winners (lucky gits)!
I really love the terrain design, but is a risky bet to sell it prepainted. I’ll wait until I see the price to made up my mind about purchasing it
Very interested in more features on airbrushes as it’s a tool I use a lot, but always looking to learn something new. Angel’s book is one I’m waiting for with interest as I really like how he merges airbrush and traditional brush work together.
I’ve been wanting to get into Infinity for quite a while now, recently I had the opportunity to play a few Operation Icestorm demo demo games. Well, a starter box of Yu Jing has been ordered! 😀
Btw, another great show the feature into laser cutting was fascinating.
Deffo going to get a copy of the painting book
I’m a little sad there will only be 5000 copies of Angels book. I don’t go into painting guides much but that one would be worth it just for the pics, any tips in there would be a massive bonus.
great video
Awesome!
`Would love to see more Lasercut stuff, free files to make some terrain in fablab is great idea.
hope to see some fantasy scaffolding for mordheim to make my town play with more high places, and 3d tokens for dystoian wars in accryilc , allready googling to fablab near me lol
Love infinity’s models, the paint jobs on them are just amazing
Awesome Mini!
I may be too late but all I can say is WOW….
The brighter orange is so much better.
