Ah sorry dude, I thought you were describing each individual unit’s make-up. That depends on their role. Objective grabbers will do well with boltguns as they can still add shots to a battle. Anything that is planning to assault me will need knives or they’ll just get pasted in assault. Shotguns are wasted against marines. Keep in mind it’s really difficult (read: impossible) for infantry to block line of sight, so they won’t be disrupting my heavy weapons fire. The benefit of having scouts up close is protecting characters that can move around without being targeted.
