We were portraying members of the 9th SS-Panzerdivision “Hohenstaufen” during the fighting around St. Vith last weekend.
Technically speaking, the Kharkov Parka I’ve got on was only ever seen in one photo from the entire operation, and that was with the 1st SS, so it’s a bit of a rarity as far as the Bulge is concerned. The Mantel my colleague is wearing, however, was the most prominent.
