Don’t think I have ever thought “I am going to enjoy this” regarding hobby but certainly after hobby session be that painting, playing or stream I have thought “I enjoyed that” this then tends to spur me onto the next session. Certainly, if I have had a bad/negative experience it tends to put me in that low mood of not looking forward to future hobby.

These days I try not to overthink things and just do hobbies when the mood strikes or try to get a “habit” going for completing stuff, it seems to be working at the moment as I have gotten quite a bit done so far this year.
