The only disadvantage of the pre-Event format was that the team always had to be very conscious of the fact that Ben was on the telly and couldn’t participate as easily as the rest.

There is a better flow to the conference call discussions themselves as well, which is something that I hope isn’t simply the result of the technological challenges.

The production quality of the current zoom-call format is a bit lacking. There is room for improvement, but it probably depends on wether or not that is realistic. Especially when you consider that the team has made a lot of effort in getting their own studio up to the quality it is now.

I think a mix of show formats is probably the best compromise, because then you can do stuff that fits the format (studio when there is stuff to show, zoom-call for news/updates).
