@limburger The refrigerants portion of class was not as extensive as you might think. True it scares the hell out of me to think how bad they are if I were to have large scale exposure but one of my friend’s that doe service work says it was a lot scarier than his experience. The testing is multi part for all that and I have a basic qualification so I’m not all that high up on the food chain to do that kind of work. As far as the future, I see developing tech in magnetic cooling in the industrial and commercial sector kicking off and then getting more refined (and cheaper) for domestic use
