@warzan I find it very sad that we have come to this. I might understand the reasoning, but I wish it was not necessary. We are all part of one wargaming tribe. The real world is full of gamers and hobbyists with different stances on a number of issues – taking sides and dividing us does not seem like a solution.  I have been with BOW/OTT since the ‘Seven Days of Sanguinious’ and it saddens me to no end to see this happening to our community.

Instead of blocking people and building walls, why not just strictly enforce a policy that you cannot talk about world issues on the forum.  If one side of the argument talks about a particular political issue or agenda, you are going to expect the other side to engage and retort – basic human nature.  So just banned it outright altogether and keep the discussion limited to hobby.

I hope we can all be a bit more tolerant of each other and at the same time maybe thicken our skin and not be offended too easily, and dismiss the need to take sides and telling people to go off themselves.
