Trying to make the internet a more enjoyable thing in my life has been a focus for six or seven months now. @sundancer pointed me to Mastodon and, after the work you have to put in to get up and running there, it has been a lovely experience of social media. I deleted my last meta account yesterday (other than WhatsApp which sadly because of work I can’t get rid of). Going back to reading blogs has also been a joy recently – seeing people excited, even or perhaps especially when it is something I know nothing about feels like what I loved about the internet twenty years ago.

In terms of YouTube channels, most of the ones I’d recommend have already been mentioned. I’d add in Battlestreams in Middle Earth, The B1M and Games Night.
