A call to Dublin players

So, in effect of a weird turn my life recently took, I’m moving to Dublin, Ireland in three weeks to spend there at least two next years.

 

I’ve packed my hobby related supplies for the moving company to take them on Monday, however, I don’t really know what are playing opportunities in that city/area.

 

Up until today, I’ve visited Gamers World which seems to be the main place in the city, but I guess I’d rather meet some gamers and talk to them.  So that is my call; anyone willing to introduce me to the local scene? What gaming spots/groups/clubs in Dublin would you recommend? Where to meet fellow players and hobbyists? How does it work there?

 

Just for information, I play mostly Infinity and Frostgrave, have also figures for Wolsung SSG and Warzone. And please don’t send me to google or facebook, I’ve already did my research, now calling for some living players from the area.

Dublins gaming community is the biggest in the country and there are a few clubs. You will be fine, my friend. Im based elsewhere in Ireland, but you really wont have a problem at all.

Hi my club is in Wicklow town, all info found on web site http://www.warroomgaming.com

There are infinity players ,mostly 40k but other interests. Board games once a month.

@sulphur, thank you. I’ve seen your website earlier and will surely pay you a visit as soon as I get my hands on some car (and learn to drive on that ungodly side of the road).
